My name is Jason Mecler, and I am a dedicated cannabis and hemp product developer and educator. My journey into this field began out of necessity when traditional medicine failed to address my health challenges. Diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ankylosing spondylitis, and a double mutation of the MTHFR gene, I struggled with debilitating symptoms, including chronic pain, mobility limitations, fatigue, and mental health challenges. These illnesses profoundly impacted my life, but cannabis became a turning point in my healing journey. Through its use, I found relief, managed most of my symptoms, and reduced my reliance on pain medications. This personal transformation led me to explore the cannabis industry further, initially for my own healing. However, as I shared my products with others, I discovered their potential to help those grappling with similar health issues. What began as a personal quest evolved into a mission to provide relief and hope to others. My education in cannabis medicine is rooted in the work and research of industry pioneers such as Max Montrose (Trichome Institute), Dr. Ethan Russo, Jorge Cervantes, and Raphael Mechoulam, among others. Their knowledge has guided my understanding and approach to developing effective and reliable products. With the encouragement of my wife and others who believed in my vision, we launched Cosmec Healing. As a small, family-owned business, our goal is to educate, empower, and provide products that truly make a difference. Every ingredient we use is of the highest quality, organic whenever possible, and in full compliance with federal hemp laws. Additionally, all our terpenes and cannabinoids undergo rigorous third-party testing to ensure safety and effectiveness. While cannabis medicine may not be the right fit for everyone, our high success rate inspires us to continue helping people find relief. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey. Sometimes my wife takes a photo that makes me appreciate where we live all over again. This is one of them.

Ali captured this recently, and it’s one of my favorites she’s taken, the crescent moon, the trees against that orange sky, and the reflection in the water. A glimpse of the place we call home here on Hoopers Island, Maryland.

There’s a balance I try to find in what I share here: letting you get to know the person behind Cosmec Healing without making this page all about me. My experiences helped shape this business, but they’re only part of its story.
All of you are part of it, too.

Every question you ask, experience you share, word of encouragement, and honest piece of feedback helps shape what we do. You bring your own stories, challenges, and reasons for being here. I want there to be room for those alongside mine.

So sometimes I’ll share the work. Sometimes I’ll share what I’ve been through and what I’m learning. And sometimes, I’ll share a photo my wife took that I can’t stop looking at.

A customer left this on Google eight months ago and it has been stuck in our heads since: "intentionally helpful."

Intentional is the word we would have picked. Every formula is built around one job, everything is poured by hand, and every batch is third party tested for purity and accuracy before it leaves the building.

🔬 The science is catching up, and the conversation around cannabinoid research is growing. 💚

A customer once told us they believed Cosmec Healing was “changing the game for neuropathy treatment.” That stayed with us.

Now, a 2024 peer reviewed, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled clinical trial has examined a topical combination of THC, C*D, and CBN for painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The researchers reported greater improvements in neuropathic symptoms compared with placebo.

Sound familiar? 👀

Those are the same three cannabinoids found in Recovery GOLD, a combination we began exploring long before this study was published.

Our focus has always been research, thoughtful formulation development, and listening to the experiences of our customers.

That’s why it’s encouraging to see independent researchers studying this cannabinoid combination. While this study used a different formulation and did not evaluate Recovery GOLD, its findings add to the growing conversation around cannabinoid science.

We believed in the potential of this research before this study existed, and are grateful for those who paved the way years before this became "acceptable." 💚

Waste not, want not! 🌶️🔥

Had a bunch of beautiful habaneros left over from making our latest batch of Cosmec Healing Fire C***r, and there was no way I was letting these go to waste!

So, naturally, I decided to make some homemade hot sauce!

Threw in some mango, honey, fresh garlic, and ancient sea salt to give it a little sweetness to balance out all that heat. 🥭🍯🌶️

I actually debated getting a little creative and infusing it with some terp sap, but ultimately decided to leave that experiment for another day and let the natural ingredients do their thing.

I love experimenting with different ingredients and seeing what I can come up with.

Sometimes the best creations happen when you're just trying not to waste something!

The cannabis plant makes more than 100 cannabinoids. C*D is the one that got famous. It is rarely the one doing all the work.
