During the early weeks of nursing, it can sometimes feel like you're breastfeeding constantly. Babies often nurse more frequently because their stomachs are small and breastmilk is easily digested. Frequent nursing can also helps your body know how much milk to make for your baby. If you have questions about feeding your baby, reach out to WIC! https://wicbreastfeeding.fns.usda.gov/breastfeeding-basics

It is common for babies to prefer one breast at times. Differences in milk flow, ni**le shape, positioning, or comfort can make nursing on one side easier for your baby in some cases. You can continue offering both breasts and try different positions to make the less prefered side more comfortable. Reach out to WIC if you need help with breastfeeding. https://wicbreastfeeding.fns.usda.gov/overcome
