We offer:
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Japanese Acupuncture
Somatic Counseling This space was born of a deeply-felt need for a space where people can find community, connection, support, and healing. It is a space where babies, children, and adults can come to reflect, reconnect, and rediscover their inherent health and highest sense of well-being through a variety of wellness focused care modalities and community circles that allow for self-exploration and self-discovery in a safe and supportive environment. At Maitri Family Wellness all of our practitioners honor the process of listening and witnessing. There are many ways to explore the tapestry, the story, of our lives. At Maitri Family Wellness we make space for all of these expressions while having an intentional focus on the body as a the story-teller and the wisdom-keeper. Our modalities, and our practitioners, all offer deeply integrative and holistic care that allows for you to integrate all parts of your history into Wholeness. This space exists because, as a society, we need – and deserve – a sacred room in which to come together to tell our stories, to be witnessed, to experience ourselves, and to discover the truth that separation is an illusion; we are all connected. We can't wait to share this journey with you!

Would you like to model for Maitri and this amazing work! The sessions will be used for our brand new website, print marketing materials, and digital marketing i cluding social media. We can be mindful of how photographs are taken to obscure identity using only profile photos or views from the back (especially for children!) because kierstyn soloai | colorado film photographer + doula is the actual best at 📸!

We truly appreciate your help in sharing Craniosacral Therapy with the community!

These will be mini CST sessions for you and/or your little one. Our goal is for everyone to leave a bit more settled than when the arrived 💗

Because these are short sessions back-to-back throughout the morning, the flow will feel a bit more like a community clinic with arrivals and departures overlapping slightly.

If you are coming with your baby or child photos may also include you as this work is very much a family event ☺️

As a thank you, you will receive a special image from your session via email about a month after your session takes place.

Okay Fort Collins mamas with little babies… I’ve been promising this for a while and it’s finally here!

Our Free Baby Clinic happens every 4th Monday at Maitri, and it’s exactly what it sounds like: free, gentle Craniosacral Therapy for pre-crawling babies… but I really want it to be more than that.

Come anytime between 9–11:30. We’ll offer brief, baby-led CST sessions first-come, first-served, and while you’re waiting (or afterward), stay awhile.

Feed your baby. Sit on the floor. Meet another mom. Ask questions. Let your baby look at other babies. Come with your hair unwashed, in your pajamas, or feeling a little frazzled… You do not need to make yourself presentable for us.

There’s no appointment, no cost, and no expectation that you leave as soon as your baby has been seen. Part of why we’re doing this is because new parenthood can be so freaking isolating, and I want Maitri to be a place where families can actually find each other.

4th Monday of every month • 9:00-11:00am

Babies are people.

And sometimes they have really hard beginnings.

We don’t have to know exactly what a baby experienced to acknowledge that something happened. We don’t have to fix it or make the hard parts disappear.

We can just be with them in it.

I actually say things like this to babies every day in sessions. And they actually respond.

Maybe they don’t understand the words the way we do, but they know our intention, tone, pace, touch, and when someone is listening to them.

It is kind and respectful to acknowledge what a baby has been through instead of pretending their story only begins once the scary part is over.

Talk to the babies. They are listening.

Sometimes births are hard.

Often it isn’t because anyone intended harm… it’s not necessarily because someone did something wrong.

Birth can be unpredictable. Emergencies happen and sometimes everyone in the room does their very best and a family still walks away shaken.

But what happens afterwards matters. Families need truth. They need orientation. They need someone willing to name what happened answer their questions. Hear how they experienced and acknowledge where things could have gone differently.

In my work with families and birth stories, I see how healing it can be to create a coherent narrative around an experience that has lived in fragments.

I believe that can begin with the people who were in the room during the birth. Sadly, that is not often how it goes.

We may be afraid that acknowledging someone’s experience will create blame, but silence doesn’t erase what happened.

It just leaves families alone to make sense of a really huge experience, while also tending to their own healing and taking care of their brand new baby.

We owe it to families to help them to begin to organize and integrate their experiences after birth. 💗

Our birth community has been holding a lot lately.

This Thursday, I’m opening a space specifically for the professionals who have been impacted by everything unfolding around Tender Gifts… simply to come together, see one another, be witnessed, process what we’re carrying, and remember that none of us are holding this alone.

There’s nothing you need to prepare… just show up and connect in a peer-to-peer space. If conversation naturally moves toward collective next steps or action, we can make room for that too.

I know, I know… three whole minutes in this economy?! 😂

BUT if you’ve been following along wondering okay but what actually IS Craniosacral Therapy?! This one’s for you.

Consider it a tiny documentary for the gram!

On the wrongful persecution of midwives and why this is not that. So much complexity here, so let’s all remember to be kind and gentle with each other please 💗

Lots of new faces here this week, so it felt like time to say hello.

Please enjoy me trying to tell you who I am while VERY SUBTLY reading the notes beside my camera… lol

I’ve been wanting to bring all of these families together for so long. I’m bummed that it’s taken this kind of news but also grateful that the time is finally now.

Yesterday’s news may have brought up a lot for families who have had difficult or harmful experiences with Tender Gifts — validation, grief, anger, relief, confusion, or simply the resurfacing of stories that have had very few places to be spoken.

This gathering is not a space to organize against Tender Gifts, build a case, strategize, condemn, or rally. It is also not about deciding what anyone else’s experience should mean.

It is simply a space to be together.

For those who have carried difficult experiences quietly, I want to offer a room where we can share our stories, listen to one another, and perhaps feel a little less alone in what we have lived through. No agenda beyond witnessing, connection, and whatever healing can come from being seen by people who understand.

If yesterday’s news stirred something in you and this kind of gathering feels supportive, you are welcome. 🤍
