Testing Testing.. is this mic on?

A higher price tag NEVER means the product is better. I’m excited that we’ve been trying affordable + spurge products!

This industry is changing DAILY! New science, innovative ingredients, advanced formulations, and emerging technologies are constantly changing the way we understand and treat skin.

The more I learn, the more I research, and the more products and treatments I personally test, the better equipped I become to treat different skin types, concerns, and conditions.

Some of these might stay.. some might leave.. or maybe we will keep them all! Stay tuned!

Did you giggle (nervously.. guilty) too? 😅

We have ALLLLL been there, done that! Putting jeans on a big meal is the worst one & maybe Sunday scaries.

Anyways, doesn’t hurt that bad (imo). The Gentle Max Pro Plus with a zimmer (basically a high power ac unit) makes it soooo much more comfortable.

& if you’re someone who has has laser hair with a machine that the laser tech had to put gel on you first, then laser.. girl it’s 2026, we ain’t gotta do all that mess.

As a Level 1 + Level 2 Certified Acne Specialist, I’ve had the opportunity to help clear so many clients over the years and one of the most common things I see happens AFTER someone has already gotten clear.

Months later, sometimes even years later, breakouts can start showing back up.

And when that happens, my first question usually isn’t, “What product do we need to add?”.. It’s, “What changed?”

Because acne is a puzzle.

Your skin is constantly responding to what’s happening around it and within it: your routine, consistency, hygiene habits, stress, sleep, diet, medications, supplements, hormones, makeup, hair products… sometimes even something as simple as a new laundry product or not changing your pillowcase often enough.

This is why treating acne is so much more than throwing products at the skin.

Before changing your entire routine, go back through the last few weeks and ask yourself: What’s different?

There are A LOT of pieces to the skincare puzzle, and I’m constantly learning. These are just some of the things I’ve spent years learning, continuing my education, treating real skin, making mistakes, asking questions, and staying curious about.

The more I learn, the more I realize there is ALWAYS more to learn.

And if you’re my client, you already know I’m going to educate you, tell you when I disagree with something, and sometimes lovingly take away the skincare products you bought at 11:47 PM because TikTok told you that you “need” them.

Skincare is not one-size-fits-all.

Being born and raised here makes this recognition even more meaningful because this community has shaped who I am, both personally and professionally. CSA would never be where it is today without all of you.

“Success” can mean a lot of things to different people but to me.. it’s about making a difference.
