DeKalb SenioRx The SenioRx program is located at the Council on Aging and funded in part by TARCOG.

It is a prescription assistance program for people with disabilities or ages 55+. This program helps individuals with a doctor diagnosed chronic disease that cannot afford the medications they need. For those that qualify, they help low income and disabled individuals to access more than 1,200 medicines for free or at low cost, including diabetic supplies. Last year, we helped DeKalb residents save over $3 million on their name brand prescription medications.

DiAnne Callahan served the residents of DeKalb County for over 20 years with our SenioRx Prescription Drug Program. Last year alone, she saved 479 clients over $5.1 million on 1,602 prescriptions! She retired at the end of May and will be greatly missed, but we are excited to see her enjoy this new chapter in her life.

DiAnne may not be coming to the office anymore, but she left her SenioRx program strong through her relationships with clients and doctors, and her vast connections of outreach for her program. Before she left, she made sure that her clients would be well taken care of by training her replacement, Allie Andres, to take care of her clients after she left.

Here are a few pictures of DiAnne with friends and family at her retirement party.
