AEDs today can talk you through a rescue… but they can’t replace YOUR hands.

In a real cardiac arrest, the difference is confidence + reps:
• Turn it on fast
• Place pads correctly (and safely)
• Keep compressions going with minimal pauses
• Know what to do when it says “no shock advised”

Buying an AED is a great move. Training with it is what makes it usable when adrenaline hits.

Quick annual maintenance for real peace of mind:
• Check the battery expiration date (and order a spare)
• Check electrode pad expiration + packaging seal (swap if damaged)
• Do a quick monthly visual check (status indicator, cabinet access, supplies)
• Keep a simple log so everyone knows it’s “good to go”
