Iāve held off on sharing this for quite some time, but the moment has finally comeā¦
This November, I will officially be hanging up my Midwife hat and stepping away from Midwifery.
After 11 beautiful, sacred years, I am retiring from this incredible calling.
Itās hard to put into words just how bittersweet this is. Over the past decade, Iāve had the profound honor of walking alongside so many of you in some of lifeās most intimate, holy, earth shattering, and powerful moments. The trust youāve placed in me, the stories Iāve been part of, the life and loss Iāve witnessedāit has been nothing short of a gift and honor to be a part of. And I will miss it deeply.
I donāt know if Midwifery will call me back one day, years down the roadāor if this is truly goodbye. But what I do know is that God is leading me into a new season. One where my family and my health need to come first. Itās time to turn inward, to nourish the parts of me that have long been set aside during years of long hours and countless nights on call.
Weāre excited to grow our family when the time is right, and Iām embracing the opportunity to slow down and tend to my own well-being, with the same love and intention Iāve poured into caring for others for so many years.
Iām not sure if Iāll keep this space active, but you can find me over at āthatās where Iāll be sharing and creating space in this next chapter.
From the bottom of my heart: thank you. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journeys. Thank you for trusting me, for inviting me in, and for shaping my life in ways I will carry forever.
I love you all so much. š„¹š¤
