Taking a moment to acknowledge, celebrate, and hold recent moments of gathering, connection, sharing, and facilitation 🙏🏼. It’s been both nerve racking and fulfilling and left me with much to sit with and integrate.

Up next: Ireland for 3 weeks to let landscape, ancestors, and story shape me 💚.

Also, we’re a few steps closer to being able to accept insurance for integrative + somatic psychotherapy and gestating other ways to gather and practice together as a coming home to the wisdom, meaning, and dignity that lives within body, soul, earth, cosmos, and the ineffable 🌀.

An invitation for those who know there’s gotta be another way- a way rooted in nature, rhythms, ritual, creativity, story, connection, interdependence, belonging, reverence, the in-between, dignity, soul, the wider than, meaning ✨.

Whether we know it or not, we’re hungry for these ways of being because they’re etched in our cellular memory and bone knowing.

However, it often feels out of reach or short lived.

That’s because it demands our participation; repetitive practice; remembering that comes from felt experience; unraveling the knots that keep us bound.

And the pace and patterns of modernity don’t always make those opportunities easy to come by or see.

But they are there.

In the hills and hollers of our consciousness, community, and collective knowing.

Waiting for us to turn our gaze and engage or at the very least, be curious.

And if we don’t, we will be eaten by the dragons within, as Ursula Le Guin puts it.

Those dragons being the anxiety, the heaviness, the self-abandonment and doubt, the insatiable hunger, the despair and despondency( a homesickness that comes from forgetting and turning away from our soul, the soul of the world, and the source that holds it all.

Goldenrod and Aster is a an opportunity to toward, to re-member ourselves, together.

Rilke wrote “you must change your life” and I can’t stop chewing on those words and the way they beckon something deep within me to engage in practice and repetition to forge a different way, a way that is soul empowering, regenerative, full of range and resonance and becoming.

Questions I’m sitting with- What paths are you maintaining? What paths are you creating?; What are you practicing? What wants to be practiced? How is the world soul courting you?

Transitionary periods are wonky and clunky and they’re allowed to be AND we can engage in practices that see us through or pin us down. I’ve been swimming in the latter, now I’m curious about the former and ways we can be in practice together in the future.
