WORLD-CLASS ATHLETES KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF RECOVERY!

It was an absolute pleasure welcoming Mahmoud Jabr to The Salty Spa WI for a recovery session!

Mahmoud is an accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, international competitor, and owner of Mach5JJ right here in Franklin, Wisconsin.

His accomplishments include a silver medal at the 2025 Pan IBJJF No-Gi Championship and a gold medal at the 2026 Chicago Summer International Open.

Competing at this level takes incredible discipline, dedication, and hard work. But what happens off the mats matters, too!

We’re grateful Mahmoud chose to spend some of his recovery time with us.

DO I USE RECOVERY SERVICES???

I talk a lot about recovery at The Salty Spa WI, but here’s something I probably don’t talk about enough…

I use these services too.

I’m busy. I work. I train. I run a business. I have responsibilities. I deal with stress and soreness just like everyone else.

So when I tell people that recovery needs to become part of their routine, I’m not just saying it as a business owner. I believe in taking the time to recover myself.

You’ll find me in the infrared sauna. I use the red light therapy. I take time to slow down and give my body and mind a chance to recharge.

I just don’t usually post about it.

Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean life stops being busy. It means you become more intentional about how you handle the busyness.

What a great weekend at Pulse Health Fest!

The Salty Spa WI had an amazing time being part of such a great event at the Summerfest grounds. I met so many awesome people, had some great conversations about wellness and recovery. I gave out A LOT of LMNT to help everyone stay hydrated and STAY SALTY!

Events like this are about more than promoting my business. They’re about getting out into the community, building relationships, educating people about taking care of their bodies, and introducing more people to what we’re building at The Salty Spa WI.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, grabbed some LMNT, talked with me, and showed me some love. And thank you to everyone behind Pulse Health Fest for allowing me to be part of such a great event.

Today, I had the privilege of hosting my friend and brother, of the Milwaukee Wave Professional Soccer Team.

Ian has had an incredible career and continues to be a force to be reckon with on the field. I respect his work ethic both on and off the field. Beyond the athlete, he’s a great person with a heart for others.

At The Salty Spa WI, our mission is to help people feel better physically and mentally. To have the opportunity to support athletes like Ian in their recovery and wellness journey is truly an honor.
