Did you know that acupuncture can work wonders for fertility? 🤰✨
Acupuncture is an ancient practice used for centuries to support reproductive health. Here's how it can help:
1️⃣ Stress Reduction: Acupuncture promotes relaxation, reducing the harmful effects of stress on fertility. 🧘♀️
2️⃣ Hormone Balance: It can help regulate hormones, promoting a healthy menstrual cycle. 🔄
3️⃣ Improved Blood Flow: Acupuncture increases blood flow to the reproductive organs, enhancing their function. 💓
4️⃣ Egg Quality & S***m Health: Studies suggest it may improve egg quality and s***m count. 🥚
5️⃣ IVF Support: Many couples use acupuncture and IVF treatments as complementary therapy. 🏥
Remember, acupuncture is just one piece of the fertility puzzle, but it's worth considering if you're on this journey.

If you’ve dealt with insomnia, chances are you have also struggled with its side effects like daytime drowsiness, increased irritability, trouble concentrating, and a handful of other symptoms that are less than ideal when trying to perform daily tasks.
Acupuncture and Chinese herbs are a great natural alternative to sleeping pills, which can cause more damage if used long-term.
Our providers are determined to find the root of your sleeping struggles, whether it is from anxiety, pain, or unbalanced hormones. Give us a call today to see how we can help you!
We have a new product available for purchase in the lobby! Evil Bone Water is a topical spray made with Imperial Grade Herbs that can be used for pain relief or even bug bites! Ask us about it at your next appointment!
Our day-to-day lives are full of stressors and external stimuli. This can put our sympathetic nervous system in overdrive. Being in a constant state of fight-or-flight is not ideal for our physical or mental health.
Acupuncture can help regulate our bodies' functions, lower cortisol levels, relax your muscles, and calm your mind.
Taking control of your health and wellness by getting acupuncture, eating nutritious foods, practicing mindfulness, and using other self-care techniques can make things out of our control seem a little less chaotic.
It probably sounds a little strange when your practitioner asks to see your tongue for the first time - but it’s not as odd as it seems! A quick inspection can inform them of many important things. Sort of like the SparkNotes for your body!
They are looking for different colors, textures, shapes, cracks, and more. If certain features are present, they can use that to identify underlying deficiencies or imbalances that could be causing your symptoms.
For people with allergy symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and itchy eyes or throat - acupuncture can help. Acupuncture boosts your immune system, and reduces inflammation and heat in the body that can cause swollen sinuses and irritated, watery eyes.
You don’t have to suffer - give us a call today to schedule a consultation!

Acupuncture needles are so thin, you can fit more than 10 of them in the tip of a standard hypodermic needle used to draw blood.
If you are hesitant to try acupuncture due to an aversion to needles, we hope this explanation and example of needling will help change your mind!
Did you know that ear seeds can help maintain the benefits of your acupuncture session?!

Ancient Healing Art. Powerful Transformation
Join us in welcoming Brian Hanlon L.Ac. to McCormick & Associates!
Brian found his calling to become an acupuncturist on Alice’s treatment table where she was helping him recover from injuries he suffered after a significant traffic accident.
Brian shares Alice’s holistic philosophy that restoring health depends profoundly on tailoring treatment to the individual’s body, mind, spirit, and energy.
While attending the Maryland University of Integrative Health, he found a strong connection to treating patients suffering pain, stress, and anxiety that were similar to his own situation with his injuries. He was fortunate to study with a specialist in Chinese medical obstetrics focusing on women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy. In the course of this study, he found an affinity for postpartum care and recovery.
Brian is currently serving our self-pay patients Monday through Friday by appointment only. Call the office today to book a consultation! (301)-662-8000
