Guys, I know I said 6 pm, but dammit, I couldn’t wait! I’m so excited to roll out our FREE99 21-Day Shred program!
Over the last 18 years, we’ve heard the same things over and over: “I don’t know what to eat. I don’t know what to do for exercise. I don’t know where to start. I have no support. I have no accountability.” These have all been roadblocks for so many people.
But here at Soldier Fit & The Herd, we believe a fit America is a free America, and we want to be free forever.
That means we’ve got to do our part to combat the rising tide of obesity in this country. The reality is, we’re expecting 50% of this country to be obese by 2030, and we just can’t have that.
So, we’re rolling out our free 21-day kickstart program: the 21-Day Shred! As you can see, we’ve already started a little pre-opening for some people.
You’re going to get support and a community. You’re going to have access to classrooms. One of the biggest challenges when people try to learn something new is getting overwhelmed with information.
It’s like trying to drink water out of a fire hose. So, the way the 21-Day Shred is set up is by releasing a new training every day for 21 days, making sure you get it all.
We’re going to teach you about mindset. We’re going to explain nutrition in a way that’s simple and easy to understand.
We’ll cover supplements, discuss cardio training, and explain how resistance training works. We’ll even teach you about time management so you can prioritize your health.
And here’s the kicker: we’re doing all of this completely for ZERO dollars. You’ll never have to pay for any of the training we’re giving you.
This is our commitment to our country. We know that you will start if we give you the tools, help, and support you need.
And you will make a transformation in your life. So, it’s simple, guys. All you need to do is join our community.
Click the link below to get free access. Again, zero dollars. I hope you take this as the guide you’ve been looking for to put your health where it belongs—as a priority.

Congratulations to our “Troop of the Month”, Katie Shipp! 🏆
Katie earned this award for numerous reasons. She consistently shows up with a great attitude, she pushes herself and those around her, and she’s very coachable and dedicated. She is extremely hard working and doesn’t shy away from a challenge, which she proved during Danny’s “Mindset Over Motivation” challenge. Because of this, she was awarded Danny’s Buffalo Hat for being the top “Troop” in the challenge. The hard work she’s been putting in absolutely shows in both her mental and physical transformation. Katie is down 40 pounds of fat since joining Soldierfit and she’s getting stronger by the day 💪🏼 She makes us proud and we are so grateful to have her on our team. Great work, Katie! 🌟💞
Nothing is less impressive than heavy weight done wrong.

The first atom you have to overcome is your own.
There is the concept of the “Habit Loop,” a framework that encapsulates how habits form and persist in our lives. This loop consists of three key components: the cue, the routine, and the reward.
The Cue is a trigger that tells your brain to go into automatic mode and which habit to use. It could be anything from a time of day, a particular emotional state, or an event that signals the start of the habit loop.
The Routine is the behavior itself, the action you take automatically when you encounter the cue. This can be a physical action, a mental one, or an emotional one.
The Reward is what you gain from the habit, which helps your brain determine if this particular loop is worth remembering for the future. Rewards can vary from tangible ones like food or a “runner’s high” to intangible ones like emotional satisfaction or relief.
Overcoming bad habits, according to the book “The Power of Habit”, involves identifying and manipulating these components.
Here are strategies to do so:
1. Identify the Habit Loop: The first step is to recognize the cue, routine, and reward that constitute the habit loop. Keeping a habit journal can be an effective way to identify these components. Note down the circumstances surrounding your habit, including the time, place, emotional state, and preceding actions.
2. Experiment with Rewards: Understanding what reward you’re truly seeking from a habit is key to changing it. Try changing the routine while keeping the cue the same, and see how different rewards affect your craving. This can help you understand what you’re really craving and find healthier ways to achieve that reward.
3. Isolate the Cue: Since cues are often subtle and come in various forms like emotional states, time of day, or sensory triggers, isolating the cue requires attention to patterns. By knowing precisely what triggers your habit, you can begin to change the behavior that follows.
4. Have a Plan: Once you’ve identified the components of your habit loop, plan for action. This involves choosing a different routine that responds to the cue and provides a reward. It’s important to plan ahead for how you’ll react when faced with the cue.
But first you MUST believe you can.
Remember, whatever you say after I AM, YOU ARE!
Belief in change is essential, and often, support groups or collective belief can bolster individual resolve.
You are who you run with. If you’re looking for a supportive community to run with we are looking for you!

Love. Inspires some big talk, especially on hallmark days.
People say they'd move mountains for the ones they love while they sit on the couch.
They buy their Valentine roses that will wilt and die in a couple of weeks as a testament to their love, yet refuse to care of themselves so they can be in their lives longer.
They tell their kids to be strong, but they are weak.
If you're willing to die for them, why not live for them now. More importantly, why not face some physical discomfort and set an example to enable them to live longer (and more enjoyable) lives.
Love isn't just saying sweet things to others and ourselves.
Love is caring enough to do the hard work and face uncomfortable truths.
Love is setting the right example, even if it's difficult to do.
You don't have to skip the cards, flowers, chocolates, or dinner dates, but you should start taking care of each other, by taking care of your health, first.
Don't insult the people you love by saying they are the reason you can't do it. Don't just say you love them.
Prove it by caring for the person they love most, you.
Head down.

For much of my childhood, I was abused in some way or fashion.
I was mocked incessantly.
I was molested in my bathtub by one of my brothers.
My Sister molested me, and truth be told, I carry most of my guilt because I came to the room when she told me and did what she said.
I always ask myself what was wrong with me?
Why didn't I say no?
Why did I do what she asked?
I was then getting woken up in the middle of the night because she'd ran away from home. Seeing all my adopted siblings do drugs, commit armed robbery, and generally stay in trouble. Looking back now, I can't help but wonder what caused that in them?
Were they being molested too?
My oldest brother went to jail for molesting his daughter, and I have been told my Sister molested her daughter as well.
How does this happen to an entire family?
I found out I was adopted, only to find out that my mother didn't want me. That she had multiple sons, buy numerous men, and then going to her house to see her beat the s**t out of my brother who lived with her.
I remember being locked in the closet in our old house (which wasn't finished) for any slight infraction. No lights and no drywall made it look like a legit haunted house.
Scared the s**t out of young me.
I remember getting my ass beat with a belt in the bathtub. I remember the fear of waking up late and hearing my parents working. I remember being petrified to walk downstairs to get a drink of water if I was thirsty in the middle of the night. I remember the embarrassment of my adopted father calling me lazy and trifling. I remember my mother's mood swings, who quickly would go from loving me to hating me in a blink of an eye.
I remember having to walk miles to school or from school because my parents were pi**ed off. I remember not being allowed to have friends or sleepovers.
Mostly, I remember feeling worthless and unloved.
I share this because I believe I am not an anomaly. In fact, I think I am closer to the norm than we as a society want to admit.
That's because many people out there won't talk about it. You won't process from it. You won't heal. And, it just becomes a weight you carry around on your back until you finally break from the burden.
I know it first hand.
I have struggled with my emotions and my mental health for much of my life. I still remember the first time I thought of committing su***de. I had a long wooden stick used to string up to***co and was sharpened on one end of it. I remember very plainly thinking that I should run into a wall with the stick in front of me to so that it would impale me.
I was probably around 8 years old.
Over the years, suicidal ideation would be like a wave that washed over me. It would come, and it would go. I would have moments in my life of euphoria, only to come crashing back down later. For most of my life, I didn't understand why I was like this. Whatsmore is I was like this before all the other things I saw in life; The Pentagon on 9-11, war, and my time as a fire-fighter.
What's sadder still is I probably still wouldn't have processed the stuff from my childhood if not for my adult life's traumas. It took bottoming out, actually attempting the su***de, and luckily failing, to make me face my demons.
Here's what I learned.
You can't outrun them.
It's not possible. They are etched in your soul. Until you address them, the best you will get is they quiet down for a little bit.
But, they are always there. Waiting for you to hit another low point to come rushing back to tell you that you're a liar, a fraud, and a fake. That cycle will continue until you lose everything you love, and maybe even your life. Even worse, if you don't address the sins of your father you will pass them on to your children and hit repeat on the whole damn thing.
But, as scary as the monster is under the bed, he's not as big as you make him in your head.
You can beat him.
You just need to get help.
You cannot do it alone.
If you are reading this, I want you to know that getting help doesn't make you weak. Instead, it makes you stronger than the monster trying to hold you down. It's why he keeps telling you that you don't need help because that's how he wins.
So, if you find this message on your feed today, maybe, just maybe, it's a sign that someone up above wants you to beat the devil that's been holding you down.
You deserve a life abundance.
I hope you find it.

Are you tired of starving yourself and not getting the gains? Can't understand why you eat really strict and workout hard but still don't have the body you want?
Let me break it down for you.
Many of you may have heard you need to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight. People will often say it's as easy as simply consuming less than you burn and woa-la, you'll get "skinny"!
Often cited is a 500 calorie deficit because 500x7=3,500 (how man calories are in a pound of fat). So, in that example you'd lose a pound a week.
While that is true, most people are taking it to an extreme thinking if 500 is good, more is better, and that's not necessarily the case.
Lets take a loot at this break down below.
I'll use me as an example.
My BMR (metabolism) is 2,000 c per day. Meaning I burn 2,000 calories a day sitting still. Then with my NEAT+TEF+EAT (movement, food, and exercise) I burn another 1,000 giving me 3,000 total burn for the day.
In the first example I eat 2,500 (covering my BMR) and leaving me in a 500 calorie deficit per day. I'll lose a pound of fat per week.
In the second example I eat only 1,500c (not covering my BMR), and leaving me with a 1,500 calorie deficit. Now, instead of losing a 3 pounds of fat per week, I am going to start losing muscle, and muscle my friends is the key to burning more fat all day, meaning your metabolism is gonna tank (along with your energy level and mood).
You CANNOT starve your way to health.
You CANNOT simply "outwork" you eating habits.
Trying to do both at the same time will lead to a hangry, exhausted, and disappointed person.
Instead focus on getting STRONG, not skinny, and I promise you'll get the body you want, and more importantly, keep it!
