Have you ever considered how the way you stand and walk affects the rest of your body?

Elly is expanding her massage therapy education into Lower Body Structural Integration, learning to look beyond where tension is felt and explore how the body works together.

🦶 Starting from the ground up!

She’s learning to work with:

✨ Feet and ankles, our foundation for movement

✨ Lower legs and calves, supporting balance and mobility

✨ Knees and thighs, connecting movement through the legs

✨ Hips and pelvis, influencing how we stand, walk and carry ourselves

Structural Integration focuses on the body’s fascial connections, posture and movement patterns, with the goal of improving body awareness and ease of movement.

We all talk about carrying “emotional baggage”… but what if there’s a little more to that phrase? 🌿

Throughout life, we experience thousands of emotions. Most come, we feel them, process them, and move forward.

But sometimes an emotional experience doesn’t seem to completely let go.

In The Emotion Code, these are referred to as trapped emotions. The idea is that emotional experiences from our past may continue influencing how we feel, react, or move through life, sometimes without us even realizing it.

The Emotion Code uses muscle testing as a way of asking the subconscious specific questions to help identify trapped emotions, followed by a gentle process intended to release them.

No digging through your entire life story.
No diagnosing.
No promises about what will happen.

Just curiosity about what your body and subconscious may still be holding onto. 💚

I’m currently completing my Emotion Code certification and will be opening a limited number of sessions as part of that process.

👣 IT STARTS WITH THE FEET

Elly’s next phase of learning is taking her into Structural Integration, and we’re starting at the foundation.

The feet.

But here’s the important part: we may start with the feet, but we’re watching the whole body.

How do the feet meet the floor?
Where does the weight travel?
What happens at the ankles and knees?
What are the hips doing?
What changes when the body begins to move?

Elly is learning to observe first, notice patterns, feel what the tissues are telling her, and then begin connecting those clues.

Because a foot isn’t just a foot.

It’s part of a moving, connected human being. 💜

And sometimes changing what happens at the foundation creates a ripple much farther up the chain.

This is the fun part of her externship: she’s not only adding techniques to her toolbox anymore.

She’s learning how to think with her hands. 🔎👣
