It’s ! 💜 By wearing purple our campus community is showing support for those experiencing domestic violence. We always love showing our support here in our center and across campus! 🏥💜

Remember, October is , and it’s a time for education, awareness and action in ending domestic violence. It’s also a time to support those who have experienced domestic violence. 💜

Our resource fair, hosted earlier today, was an opportunity for our campus community to learn more about the impact of domestic violence and the resources dedicated to assisting survivors towards healing, as well as a chance to learn how you can provide support.

If you or someone you know is dealing with dating or domestic violence, contact Fresno County local hotline, The Marjorie Mason Center Marjaree Mason Center at 559-233-4357 or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233.

Faculty, Staff and Students can also contact Campus Confidential Survivor Advocate services at 559-278-6896 or [email protected]. 💜

Merici is here to talk about psychiatry services! 💗 Psychiatry can be a helpful part of finding the right mental health care for you.

Though seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist are different, Merici outlines how the Student Health and Counseling Center at Fresno State is here to help you navigate and get you the support you need. If you are interested in seeing our psychiatrist, please call our center at 559-278-2734.

Remember, you’ll need to see a therapist, or our director of counseling and psychological services first prior to seeing our psychiatrist. That way, our staff can help you find the best option that works for you. 💗
