As Veterans Day approaches, our Partners of Gundersen Moundview volunteers invite you to recognize the courage, dedication and sacrifice of the veterans in our lives.

Red and blue tribute ornaments are available for $5 each our hospital gift shop. Each ornament will include a personalized “dog tag” identifying the veteran being honored or remembered and will be displayed on a special tree in the hospital lobby.

Ornaments are available through Nov. 13. Stop by the hospital gift shop Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to purchase yours. The tribute tree will remain on display through Nov. 13. If you would like to keep your ornament, it may be picked up Nov. 12 or 13. A portion of the proceeds will be shared with our local VFW and American Legion organizations.

This morning, our "Friendship Fighters Hospital & Clinics" team and supporters continued a long-standing tradition by taking a commemorative walk the day before the annual Steppin' Out in Pink - Gundersen Medical Foundation event, a fundraiser supporting breast cancer research and patient programs through the Gundersen Medical Foundation in La Crosse.

We walked along Main Street in memory of those we have lost to breast cancer and in honor of the many survivors and individuals currently fighting this disease, including one of our own, Danielle Soley, Nurse Practitioner at Westfield Clinic.

Please note that our clinics and pharmacy are closed today, Monday, Sept. 7. Urgent Care is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Emergency Care remains available 24/7 for your healthcare needs.
