Healthy Families is a free parent coaching & support program for first-time parents. All services are voluntary and free of charge, with no income guidelines.

Healthy Families provides services to first-time parents age 23 and under, from pregnancy through their child's third birthday. We help new parents navigate pregnancy and parenting.

📚✏️ Get ready for school with the Fitchburg IMPACT Block Party this Sunday, August 9, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Riverfront Park, 51 Commercial Street.

This is a free community event to help families get ready for the school year, with:

• Backpacks
• Haircuts and braids
• Face painting
• Food and ice cream
• Basketball with Common Ground
• Community art
• Petting zoo
• Local resources
• And more

There will be a lot of community partners on hand, including Fitchburg Parks & Recreation, Fitchburg Art Museum, YMCA, NewVue Communities, LUK, Making Opportunity Count, and others.

A good chance to pick up some school supplies, connect with resources, and have some fun before the school year gets underway.
