5 Days Post Weaning

No, it's not Wagyu!

But, our Prime Angus beef could be confused for it. A premium wagyu beef has a marbling score that can extend from a 6 to a 12.

For context, our Prime Angus beef will consistently hit a 9 or 10 on a premium wagyu marbling score.

After the calves have been weaned & worked, especially regarding castration, we want to make sure they all get up, walk around to work some soreness off, and go to water & feed.

So far, they are all doing well and maintaining good body condition. One of the first signs of stress or sickness would be avoiding the feed bunk & water trough or avoiding the herd.
