I drafted some fun little pockets as a free add on for Lynette, and I think the tulip shape is my favorite! I love how it mirrors the points on the bodice.
How cute is this fableism fabric from surgefabricshop? Ellie and I fell in love with it while browsing and just had to have it for a dress 🧡🦆

I always end up sewing up multiple versions of a pattern between tweaking the fit and photographing the steps for constructing each option for the tutorial. I needed to make a snap back version of Lynette and the girls already had multiple tops and dresses, so I went ahead and made one for one my friend’s little ones. I used yet another swaddle blanket because they work so stinking well for this and it turned out so precious 🥹

Penelope saw Ellie’s Lynette top and begged me for a version using this dainty blue floral swaddle blanket. I was a little worried I wouldn’t have enough but I was able to squeak a 9/10 out of it with just a different lining fabric! She was beyond thrilled with all the little details and I am so in love with how cute she is in it 🥰

Another swaddle blanket Lynette, this time in dress length! I ended up shortening the skirt a touch before testing, but Ellie is absolutely in love with this one (especially the pockets 🥰)

Sometimes sewing makes me cry- and not for the reasons you think.
This is my newest pattern for petitestitchery, Lynette. I sewed this one up as a test run before passing it off to our testing team. I used one of Ellie’s swaddles from when she was just a tiny baby. Of course it had me all in my feels, especially when she wore this top to her first day of PRESCHOOL 😭

I hadn’t made a petitestitchery Mila since testing it back in ‘23 but I’ve had so many ideas for them. I finally took a break to sew one up and I am SO happy I did!

Easton came home the day before picture day in full blown tears. He was told he couldn’t wear his beautiful new green shirt to picture day or he would end up “a floating head” (green screen problems) and he was absolutely heartbroken.
So what else could we do but go pick out a new fabric and pattern combo? This time he chose this lovely blue tencel jersey and cotton rib paired with petitestitchery’s Fletcher. He was so thrilled the next morning when he woke up to yet another momma made tee 🥹

Ellie’s first ever picture day deserved a new top as well! She went straight to this orange floral rib my mom gifted me a several years ago and I couldn’t say no to that little face. Obviously it was meant for her and was just waiting to be chosen 😉
