I’ve never had to close my books before, but I’m trying to prevent myself from overbooking myself next year! I have a tendency to do this, which results in me working long week stretches with no days off, and some of those days I’m tattooing 10 hours a day on top of the hours it takes me to design custom tattoos. I will NEVER EVER complain about having an awesome clientele, but sometimes I just work a little *too much!* Hopefully this helps me balance work and home a little better- ya girl needs a nap!! 🖤

Had to kick it old school w/ this *cat fish* 🤭 (I’ll see myself out)
Showed up to the shop and the WiFi wasn’t working, but THAT’S OKAY! We just had to improvise, and honestly how refreshing to draw directly on the skin for a change. Big thank you to Makenna for trusting me and also for requesting something so dope! 🤎

may or may not have done some of these tattoos in the beginning of the year, so when I say clean out, I mean CLEAN OUT 🫣 which one is your fav!?! 🥹🖤

BOLD WILL HOLD (a special place in my heart forever and always) 😤
Recent trad tattoos I got to do on some of my favorite clients:
1.)Added Jordann’s favorite horse to her western sleeve 🐴
2.)Sauron & flame filler to match Zach’s other LOTR hand tattoo 🔥
3.)Cutest little hip hugging flowers for Angie (tell her what a baddie she is for getting such a tender spot blasted!!) 🌼

How many tattoos can we do in 3 hours?? This time it was 8! Added a few pressed pennies, ghost rider, and a few other small pieces to Lily’s sticker sleeve (previous work was done by another artist!)

Started Kellie’s trad sleeve and I’m SO EXCITED! 🖤 can not get over how cute the brook trout turned out- I love tattooing fish !!! Can’t wait to keep adding to this

Loved making this thigh piece for Michelle, how pretty is she 🫧

It’s the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” 🎃🕸️👻

With all the recent events in my personal life and having to reschedule almost two weeks worth of appts, my Halloween flash availability is *LIMITED* this year. Don’t worry though, these designs are repeatable and you can always book them as future appointments as well. 🖤

OPENINGS:
Thurs 10/8 from 2:30pm-8:30pm
Fri 10/9 from 10am-4pm
Fri 10/16 from 10am-4pm
Wed 10/21 from 11am-3pm
Thurs 10/29 from 12pm-8pm

Please message if you are interested in booking one of these bad boys for spooky season. Designs are available outlined, shaded, or in color- please include your preference as well as body location when booking just so I can judge how long to book you for!
Appointments will be booked on a first come/first serve basis but I will NOT be confirming or replying to booking inquiries until TOMORROW (9/18) afternoon since I’m tattooing today from 11am-8pm! So keep your eyes peeled for a response tomorrow! Thanks ghouls 🖤

Finally back at the shop this week! Kicked it off by doing this black work vase on my best friend, Briana. The lighting wasn’t working in my favor while photographing this beauty so I included the rough draft sketch because I never share those 🥹

I also wanted to thank everyone who sent their well wishes and kept my family in their thoughts over the last two weeks. My sweet Luna Bear passed very peacefully at home with us on 9/9. I miss her more than I can ever put into words but I’m so grateful to have had all of the years I did with her and I’m so thankful I got to share her with so many of you 🖤

Updates: I am caught up on messages and bookings- so TOMORROW 9/17- I will be posting my Halloween flash at 11am! 🎃
Since I had to reschedule a large amount of appointments over the last two weeks, it did limit my availability for Halloween appointments- but, these designs will be repeatable and I am open to booking them for December & into 2027. Booking will be first come, first served- HOWEVER, I will be tattooing from 11am-8pm tomorrow after posting so I will not be responding until Friday afternoon!! So if you don’t hear back from me, don’t panic! I’ll just be getting recaught up!

Hi friends,
I have already reached out to any clients that would be affected, but Groovy Moon Tattoo will be closed for the rest of this week. I will be taking the time to be with my pup on her last few days with us.
If we have ever had the pleasure of talking about our pets during your tattoo, you know how much my sweet Luna means to me. She is my soul dog and this has been an incredibly difficult week.

I have also been behind on my messages this week due to all of the veterinary visits- my goal is to have everyone replied to and booked early next week. So if you haven’t heard from me, this is why and I will be in touch soon.
As for my Halloween flash, I previously talked about sharing it this week, but due to the circumstances- I will be posting that some time next week along with booking for it. I know people have been asking so I just want to be transparent about how things will be going.

I appreciate all of the kindness and patience through this transition in my personal life. I have loved sharing her with so many of you 🖤
