We’re hiring! 🎉 We are on the look out for a new full-time Referral Coordinator to be responsible for incoming and outgoing calls in the Mesa area. The Referral Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the referral process for Essential Therapy Solutions. This includes triaging incoming referrals, assessing client needs, and matching clients with appropriate therapists. The Referral Coordinator will also work closely with therapists to ensure that clients receive the best possible care. Communication with Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Support Coordinators is required to coordinate services and authorizations.

Elizabeth, our Executive Assistant to the CEO, received some glowing feedback from Lily, one of our Bilingual DSIs, that we wanted to share! 🩵✨💫

“Gracias, Gracias and Gracias” to Elizabeth. She did an amazing job creating the “Graduation Diplomas” for our families. This strategy has been helpful to close the AZEIP program services with my families, and to make the children happy and the moms proud at the same time. Plus, a couple of weeks ago, she did something super nice and helpful for me. I was ready to graduate one of my families, and I realized that I didn’t have any more diplomas with me to do it, and Mom was happily waiting for the diploma and almost ready for the picture. I felt very bad and I texted Elizabeth to create a diploma for me as soon as possible. She sent me the diploma by email in a very short time, I gave the diploma to Mom and that saved my day! Gracias, for all your help, Elizabeth.”

October is International AAC Awareness Month! AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication and represents the use of external devices as forms of communication. AAC uses a variety of techniques and tools to help an individual express thoughts, wants and needs, feelings, and ideas, including the following:

* manual signs
* gestures
* finger spelling
* tangible objects
* line drawings
* picture communication boards and letter boards
* speech-generating devices

This month we recognize and teach that communication is not only spoken language. Communication can be expressed in many ways, all of which are valid and important! 🩵✨⭐️

We recently attended the Peds-A-Palooza Conference in Lake Las Vegas and it was a fabulous weekend! Amber, Billi, Jennie and Sarah were able to learn valuable strategies and tips to help ETS continue to grow and operate at its best. They were also able to spend some quality time as a leadership team and returned energized and inspired. 🩵✨💫
