Find your joy Joy is here, waiting for you to see it, and to touch it. No one else can discover it for you but you. I blinked. And my children grew up. NOW. Not tomorrow.

In my second year of being an empty nester, I had lost me. I had lost my feeling of self-worth, of being needed, of feeling that I was important, that I mattered. You see, my girls were my world. Now, it was just my husband Jeff and myself, and I felt a void within me. Something was missing, I felt incomplete. So, I began to fill that sense of emptiness with eating and gained a lot of weight.. I understood the importance of health and wellness, but had never truly practiced what I preached. I was so dedicated to helping others but had never made myself the priority. In November 2015, I finally realized that I needed to make a commitment to finding myself, to being healthy- mind, body and spirit. I had heard all the cliches – ‘you cannot serve from an empty cup’, in order to love others we must first love ourselves’. As a physical therapist I finally realized the importance of ‘walking the walk’, not just ‘talking the talk’. I recalled the story of the overweight physician, smoking a cigarette, telling his patients how important it was to be healthy. I NO LONGER wanted to be that hypocritical healthcare professional and knew that it was time to make a change. In time, I lost weight and partially found myself again. While I believe that when we have our health, we have it all, I realized that health is so much more than just weight loss. What was key was the comprehensive approach -the importance of the mind, body, spirit connection. Without that, the circle is incomplete. Over the past few years, I have grown spiritually as an individual. I first became a Certified Life Coach, then a Reiki Master and most recently, a Certified Nutritionist. I also returned to the healing practice of Craniosacral Therapy (this was my first ceu after graduating with my MSPT) and continue to take advanced and specialized courses including SomatoEmotional Release, Pediatrics and Conception/Birthing and Pregnancy. I believe that the more I learn, the more I grow, and the more empowered I became in helping others. This is my passion, my goal, and my journey. The BEST part of my journey is being able to help others embark on their own mind, body and spirit adventures, helping one "find your joy". I am extremely humbled and blessed as being humble means recognizing we are not on earth to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others. Now, how can I help you?

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that supports the body in releasing tension and settling the nervous system. You remain fully clothed, and each session is guided by what your body needs that day.

Not sure if CST is for you? I also offer a free 15-minute phone call. We can simply talk, you can ask questions, and see how it feels from there.

No pressure. No hard sell. Just an open door. 🧡

CST Tuesday 🧡

At last week's (Spring Ford Chamber of Commerce) breakfast, we each had 30 seconds to introduce ourselves and our businesses.

As I listened around the room, I realized how much of what we do is about providing for others—helping, serving, supporting, caring, giving.

So when it was my turn, I asked a simple question:

How often do we give just one hour to ourselves?

Not an hour to run errands.
Not an hour to catch up on everything that needs to be done.
Not an hour spent taking care of someone else.

An hour simply to receive.

Craniosacral Therapy offers that space—a quiet, gentle opportunity to slow down, become still, and allow your body and nervous system a chance to settle.

Sometimes we don't realize how much we're carrying until we give ourselves permission to put it down for a little while.

And if you've been curious about Craniosacral Therapy but aren't quite sure what it is or whether it might be right for you, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone call. No pressure. Just a conversation and a chance to ask questions.

Maybe the next person on your list who deserves a little care…is you. 🧡

Curious? Send me a message or visit my website to learn more or schedule a complimentary 15-minute call.

✨ CST Tuesday ✨
When was the last time your body felt truly relaxed?
Not sitting on the couch while scrolling your phone.
Not watching TV while your mind is making tomorrow's to-do list.
Not lying in bed while thinking about everything you should have done today. 😉
I mean that feeling when your shoulders drop…
your jaw softens…
your breathing slows…
and for a little while, you don't feel like you have to do anything at all.
We spend so much of our lives doing that sometimes we've forgotten what it feels like to simply be.
Craniosacral Therapy is gentle, hands-on work that creates an opportunity for the body to slow down and settle.
And here's something I wish more people understood:
You don't need to be in pain to experience CST.
You don't need a diagnosis.
You don't need to wait until your body is screaming for your attention.
Sometimes taking care of yourself can simply mean giving your body an hour where nothing is being asked of it.
If you've been curious about Craniosacral Therapy but aren't quite sure whether it's for you, perhaps it's time to experience it for yourself. 🧡
Your body may have more to say than you realize.

🧡CST Tuesday 🧡

DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOUR BODY JUST CAN'T TURN OFF?

You're tired...but you can't fully relax.

Your shoulders stay tense.
Your jaw is clenched.
Your mind keeps going.
You wake up tired even after sleeping.
You finally sit down—and somehow your body still feels like it needs to be doing something.

Sometimes we become so accustomed to living in that state that we don't even realize how much we're holding.

Craniosacral Therapy offers the body something we don't always give it enough of:

a chance to slow down.

Through gentle, hands-on work, CST may help support the nervous system and create space for the body to settle, soften, and release some of what it has been carrying.

You don't have to wait until something hurts to take care of yourself.

Sometimes, you simply need a place where your body knows...

it is okay to let go. 🧡

🧡CST Tuesday🧡

Have you ever wondered if your body has been asking for something you haven't been giving it?

Maybe you've gotten used to the tension in your shoulders.

The jaw that always feels tight.

The headaches that come and go.

The restless sleep.

That feeling of being “on” all the time.

Sometimes we become so accustomed to carrying stress and tension that we don't even realize how much we're holding… until we finally give ourselves permission to slow down.

Craniosacral Therapy offers a quiet space to do just that.

Through gentle, light-touch techniques, I listen to the body rather than forcing it—allowing space for the nervous system to settle and for patterns of tension and restriction to soften.

You don't have to wait until your body is shouting to begin listening to its whispers.

Maybe you've been curious about Craniosacral Therapy for a while.

Maybe you've seen my CST Tuesday posts and wondered, Could this be something for me?

Or maybe you've experienced Craniosacral Therapy with me before, loved how you felt afterward… and then life got busy.

It happens. 🧡

You can always come back.

There doesn't have to be a crisis or a specific reason. Sometimes simply realizing, “It's been a while since I've made that kind of space for myself,” is reason enough.

Whether it would be your very first session or a return to something your body already knows…

Maybe today is the day.

🧡CST Tuesday 🧡

Have you ever wondered what I mean when I say I “listen” with my hands?

After more than 30 years as a physical therapist, my hands have been trained to assess—to feel movement, restriction, tension and change.

Craniosacral Therapy asked me to learn something different.

To listen.

Not to immediately decide what needs to change.
Not to force the body in a particular direction.
But to become curious about what the body is already showing me.

Where is there movement?
Where is there stillness?
Where does something feel held?

And perhaps most importantly...

Where is the body already trying to go?

That's one of the things I find so beautiful about Craniosacral Therapy.

My knowledge of anatomy and the body doesn't disappear when I enter my healing room. It's always there. But sometimes the most important thing I can do with everything I know...

is become quiet enough to listen.

🧡Curiosity instead of judgment.
🧡 Listening instead of forcing.
🧡Respecting the wisdom of the body.

🧡 CST Tuesday 🧡

Have you ever wondered how such a gentle touch can have an effect on the body?

It's one of the questions I love about Craniosacral Therapy.

We're so accustomed to thinking that if something is tight, restricted, or uncomfortable, we need to push harder, stretch farther, or use more pressure.

CST takes a very different approach.

Using a light, gentle touch, I listen through my hands for subtle patterns of tension and restriction within the craniosacral system and surrounding tissues.

As a physical therapist, I'm very familiar with using my hands in a more traditional therapeutic way. One of the things I've learned through Craniosacral Therapy is how distinctly different CST touch feels. When I enter my healing room, my hands know the difference—the intention, the pressure, and even the way I listen through touch changes.

Rather than forcing the body to change, the intention is to work with the body—giving it an opportunity to soften, release, and find greater ease.

And perhaps that's one of the lessons CST continues to teach me...

More force isn't always the answer.

Sometimes less really can be more.

Sometimes the body responds best when we stop pushing...

and start listening.

Sometimes the greatest reminder comes right from the treatment table. 💛

Yesterday I had a session with a client who recently shared a beautiful review about her experience with Craniosacral Therapy — not only the physical changes she has noticed, but the emotional support she has felt along the way.

After our session, we talked about something that continues to amaze both of us: the connection that can happen when we stop trying to “fix” the body and simply listen.

In Craniosacral Therapy, we often speak about the Inner Physician — the innate wisdom within each of us that knows where attention is needed. My role isn't to decide what someone else's body needs. It is to be present, listen through my hands, and allow my own inner awareness to connect with theirs.

And yesterday was one of those sessions where that connection felt especially profound.

Even after all of my training and all of the people I have had the privilege of working with, I remain humbled by what can unfold when we trust the wisdom of the body.

Sometimes we don't need to push harder.

Sometimes we need to become quiet enough to listen. 🌿

With gratitude for the trust placed in me and for the lessons each person continues to bring to my table.

CST Tuesday

Have you ever wondered why times of transition can leave you feeling more tired, tense, or unsettled than you expected?

August is a month of transition.

Vacations are winding down.
Families are preparing for back to school.
Schedules are changing.
And before we know it, we'll be moving into the busyness of fall.

Even good changes can ask a lot of our nervous systems.

Sometimes we don't need to do more.

Sometimes we need a little space to simply be.

One of the things I love about Craniosacral Therapy is the opportunity it gives the body to slow down—to step away from all the doing and allow us to quietly listen to what our bodies may need.

Maybe that's a reminder for all of us as summer begins to wind down:

You don't have to rush into the next season.

Pause.
Breathe.
Be where you are.

There is still some summer left to enjoy. ☀️

👐🏼 CST Tuesday 👐🏼

Have you ever wondered why the sphenoid bone is so important in Craniosacral Therapy?

Deep in the center of your skull is a fascinating butterfly-shaped bone called the sphenoid.

And nestled within a small saddle-shaped area of that bone—the sella turcica—sits the pituitary gland, often referred to as the body's “master gland.”

The sphenoid also connects with several other bones of the skull and forms part of the eye sockets and skull base.

In Craniosacral Therapy, we don't attempt to “adjust” the pituitary gland or treat hormonal conditions through the sphenoid.

Instead, gentle techniques may be used to work with restrictions and mobility within the craniosacral system.

It's another beautiful example of something I continue to appreciate about the human body:

Nothing exists in isolation.

Everything is connected. 🧡

And sometimes understanding what lies beneath the surface helps us appreciate just how extraordinary our bodies really are.
