Here are some tips to help you navigate flu and cold season:

1. Viral coughs can last 10-14 days…sometimes even longer. If the cough is lasting longer than expected or not improving, we recommend evaluation in the office.

2. Hydration is key during illness.

3. Green snot does not mean antibiotics.

4. Saline spray. Saline spray. Saline spray.

5. A fever is considered 100.4 or higher. If your child develops a fever that lasts for 5 days, we recommend checking them out in the office.

Updates and upcoming office closure!

We are so excited to share that our provider, Amy Sommer, recently got married! Amy will be out of the office 9/7-9/11 as she enjoys her honeymoon! She will be back in the office on 9/14.

Everyone’s favorite nurse, Lauryn, will be in the office on 9/8-9/10 to answer phones. She can help if you have any questions or need to schedule an appointment to be seen after Amy returns.
