🔥 IT ENDS WITH ME
So many of us were raised inside patterns that weren’t really love... they were survival.
We were shown endurance instead of connection. Sacrifice instead of balance. Co-dependency instead of freedom. We learned to keep the peace, carry everyone else, ignore our own needs, and call it love.
And the truth is, many of the people who taught us those patterns were surviving too. They passed down what they knew. That doesn’t make the wounds less real, but it helps us understand something important... we don’t have to keep carrying them forward.
We can be the ones who break the cycle.
We can reparent ourselves. Heal the wounded parts that learned love had to be earned. Stop abandoning ourselves just to keep someone else comfortable. Stop confusing loyalty with suffering, connection with attachment, or love with losing ourselves.
This is where conscious relationships begin.
Not when two perfect people find each other, but when two people are willing to look at their wounds, own their patterns, communicate honestly, and choose each other without sacrificing themselves in the process.
Real love should not require your silence. It should not demand that you shrink, betray yourself, or disappear just to keep it alive.
The deepest healing begins when we finally turn toward the parts of ourselves we were taught to ignore and say... I see you now. I hear you. I will not abandon you again.
And when one person breaks a generational pattern, it doesn’t only change their life. It changes what their children inherit. It changes what love looks like in the family. It changes what gets carried forward.
At some point, someone has to look at the pain, the dysfunction, the fear, and the old story and decide...
It ends with me.
