Today, October 3rd, Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio.
And this isn't just another retrograde. Venus hasn't made this particular descent through Scorpio in eight years.
The last time? October 2018.
Think about that for a moment.
Who were you eight years ago? Who did you love? What were you trying desperately to hold onto? What did you believe you deserved? What were you settling for? What did you want so badly that you were willing to abandon pieces of yourself to have it?
Because Venus has returned to that part of the sky.

There is an ancient rhythm to Venus. She shines brilliantly in our sky. Then disappears into the Sun's glare.
And eventually she returns again โ transformed โ on the other side.
For thousands of years, cultures have wrapped stories around this disappearance. Stories of goddesses descending, of death and rebirth and surrender and stripping away. Tales of entering the darkness as one woman and emerging as another.
And now Venus begins that journey through Scorpio. The sign of everything buried beneath the surface.
Intimacy.
Power.
S*x.
Money.
Trust.
Jealousy.
Attachment.
Secrets.
Desire.

Because here's what makes this cycle fascinating.
Venus traces an almost five-pointed pattern through the zodiac over eight years. A star.
And approximately every eight years, she returns to nearly the same place. Same part of the Venus cycle.

Go back in your mind to the autumn of 2018.
Look at old photographs if you have them. Read an old journal. Remember your relationships, your friendships, your money, your confidence. And mostly, remember what you thought love was supposed to feel like.
And then look at the woman standing here in 2026.
Because for the next several weeks, you may begin noticing echoes. Not necessarily the same people or the exact same circumstances, but the same themes.
And maybe that's the point.
Eight years ago, you answered certain questions with the consciousness you had then.
Now Venus is asking again.
