For 40 years, we've had the best job in the world - loving and caring for seniors.

🎃🎨 We had an AMAZING time at our pumpkin carving and decorating contest today! Four teams came together to show off their creativity, teamwork, and Halloween spirit. 👻🧡 Our pumpkins are now proudly displayed in the lobby, and tomorrow their names will be added so residents, families, staff, and visitors can cast their votes for their favorite! 🏆🎃 Be sure to stop by, check out all the creative designs, and help us choose the winning pumpkin!

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make today such a spooktacular success! 🧡🍁

Our residents got into the fall spirit and had some 🍂🍁 fall garland fun! 🍁🍂 They created beautiful fall garlands to decorate their apartments! 🧡 From colorful leaves to tiny autumn touches, everyone had a chance to get creative and add a little bit of fall to their own space. We loved seeing each resident’s personality shine through their creations! 🍁✨ We’re officially ready for all things fall! 🎃🍂☕️

Help us give a HUGE congratulations to Lexi Bush from our Care Team, our Employee of the Month! 💜🌟

Lexi is a wonderful example of what it means to lead with care, compassion, teamwork, and a positive attitude. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure our residents feel supported, valued, and cared for. 🥰

Lexi, thank you for the heart you bring to your work and for creating meaningful 1440 experiences for our residents and your fellow team members every day! We are so lucky to have you on our team! 👏✨

Here’s what Lexi had to say:
“I have found so much joy in working here in our community. I love spending time with all the residents and being able to help make their days go by a little easier. I love hearing all their stories and being able to be a smiling face for them when they are having a rough day. If I’m not at work I’m probably at home hanging out with my cat (who is my best friend) or out with friends/family.”

Congratulations, Lexi! You deserve it! 🎉💐

There’s nothing quite like enjoying the simple joys of fall! Our residents enjoyed warm apple c***r and delicious donuts before heading outside to soak up the beautiful fall weather. 🧡🤎🧡🤎

Today was extra special as our residents also got to meet their new Life Enrichment Lead, Madison! 💜 Madison has been part of our StoryPoint team as a member of our care staff for the past 6 months, and we’re so excited to welcome her into her new role in Memory Care. We know her familiar face, caring heart, and experience with our residents will make this transition a wonderful one!

What a perfect way to welcome the beauty of fall! 🍂✨

🍻🇩🇪 Oktoberfest at StoryPoint Forest Hills! 🇩🇪🍻

What an amazing time we had celebrating Oktoberfest! Our residents enjoyed an incredible performance by the Deutschlanders German Band! 🎶💃

Of course, no Oktoberfest celebration would be complete without some delicious German eats! We enjoyed soft pretzels, sausage, sauerkraut, and traditional German b**r. 🥨🌭🍺

There was so much great music, good food, and even better company. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year! ❤️🇩🇪

Prost! 🍻

🍎✨🍏 Our residents got to put their own sweet spin on a classic fall favorite! 🍂❤️

Everyone received a delicious caramel apple and a variety of fun toppings to choose from. From marshmallows and candy corn to crunchy favorites, our residents got creative and decorated their caramel apples exactly the way they wanted! 😋🍎

We love creating 1440 experiences that give our residents the opportunity to make something uniquely their own.

Our residents got their hands busy in our baking group making fresh pasta from scratch! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳❤️
We talked about all the different varieties of pasta, from spaghetti and fettuccine to ravioli and so much more. We also shared stories about favorite pasta dishes along the way. Instead of cooking our creations, we let the pasta dry out so we can use it for future crafts and creative projects. 🎨🍝 Who knew pasta could be this much fun? 😊

Meet our August Employee of the Month, Haleigh Whittum.
Haleigh is a cook here at StoryPoint Forest Hills. She always carries a smile that can brighten anyone’s day. She is always going the extra mile not only for our residents, but staff as well.
Congratulations Haleigh!

Here’s what she had to say:
“I’m incredibly honored to be named Employee of the Month! Over the last 3 years working as a cook here, I’ve found so much joy in serving our community. Preparing meals is special, but the real highlight of my day is bonding with our amazing residents and wonderful team! Outside of the kitchen, you can usually find me buried in a good book, planning my next travel adventure, or spending quality time with my family!”

Help us Congratulate Haleigh 🎊👩‍🍳🌟
