Last week, our Southeast Michigan team joined the Block Out Cancer parade at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital Michigan Medicine in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

Observed each September, this month shines a light on children and families affected by childhood cancer and the importance of research, treatment, and support.

We were happy to be part of a day filled with encouragement, community, and smiles, reminding families they’re not alone.

đź’š Mental health is part of our overall health. It includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being, according to the National Institute of Mental Health.

As World Mental Health Day approaches on October 10, we’re shining a light on caregivers. They deserve opportunities to connect, recharge and feel supported, too.

Give $6 through our $6 for 6 Challenge to help Children’s Healing Center provide those opportunities at no cost to families.

đź’š Small moments of care matter. The National Institute of Mental Health says even small acts of self-care can help manage stress and support well-being.

For caregivers balancing a child’s health needs with everyday life, finding those moments can be difficult. At Children’s Healing Center, caregivers have opportunities to recharge and connect with people who understand.

Take our $6 for 6 Challenge and help make that support possible.
