Have you ever found a practitioner you really wanted to work with, then spent twenty minutes clicking around their website trying to figure out how? I don't want that to be your experience here, so let me lay it out plainly.

For a while, the first step with me was a free fifteen-minute call. Every time, I'd spend most of it explaining who I am and why I work the way I do, and we'd barely get to you. I tried every way to condense it. It can't be done, and honestly, it shouldn't be, because the way I work is the whole point.

So now, the first step is my free Terrain Reset Training. It's the get-to-know-you conversation we'd have over coffee, recorded so you can watch whenever it suits you: just under an hour of how I look at a body that's struggling, why I open drainage pathways first, and the order healing actually happens in.

Then, if you'd like to talk, we'll have a discovery call. Because you already know me by then, we get to spend the whole time on you: what's going on in your body, what you've tried, and whether my program is the right fit.

For everyone I work with, the foundation is Heal By Design, my six-month group program. One-on-one work is deep and involved, and most bodies need their terrain tended before they're ready for it. So we lay the groundwork first: sleep, stress, nutrition, hydration, nervous system regulation, digestion and absorption, circadian rhythm, body literacy, and awareness of environmental exposures. Your tuition includes the curriculum, group coaching calls twice a month, a baseline toxin panel, and a foundational supplement protocol. Graduates who want to go deeper then move into Cultivate, my private one-on-one coaching.

And here's what I love: none of this belongs to just one person. Sleep, meals, the air in your home, the rhythm of your days are all family-wide, so what you learn reaches everyone at your table. (And yes, I work with men, teens, and whole families too. That has its own pinned post.)

If you're new here, the first step is the same for everyone: comment TERRAIN and I'll send you the training.

People I meet out in the wild, in the school pickup line, at speaking events and meet-and-greets, around town, and even people who’ve known me for years, keep stopping me with the same surprised question: wait, you do functional medicine? And right behind it, usually a little more quietly, comes the second one: but you’re not a doctor, are you?

It’s a fair question, and I love answering it, because the honest answer is the whole reason my work looks the way it does.
I started as a registered nurse. I worked twelve-hour hospital shifts all the way through grad school, and I was trained in the same foundation your doctor was: advanced anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, microbiology, pharmacology, physical assessment, acute and critical care. I know what that system does well, and I’m grateful for it every time someone needs an emergency room.

But I kept going, into the training most of us were never given: nutritional biochemistry, botanical medicine, functional lab interpretation, nutritional therapeutics, and environmental medicine, including mold, Lyme, and the biotoxin illnesses that so often sit underneath a lab report everyone calls normal. Right now I’m working through an advanced certification in environmental toxicology, because toxic burden is the piece I see missed most often in the women who find me.

So when you ask what I am, here’s the closest I can get: I’m a clinician who was trained in the system and then trained beyond where it stops, and I built a method that puts the terrain of your body back in order, drainage pathways first, then digestion, then the deeper digging, then detox, in a sequence you can actually follow.
MS, RN, CNS, BCFMP. The letters are real, but what I’m proudest of is watching women finally get somewhere after years of spinning their wheels.

If you want to understand how I think before anything else, comment TERRAIN and I’ll send you my free training. Consider it the closest thing to sitting down across the table from me.

If we’ve crossed paths around town, in the school pickup line, after Bible study, or at an event, and you only recently found out what I do for a living, hi! I’m so glad you’re here.

A sweet thing keeps happening to me lately, and it happens just about everywhere: in the pickup line, in the commons after Bible study, at the meet-and-greet after a speaking event, in the middle of the grocery store. Someone leans in and says, I had no idea you did functional medicine, can I take you to coffee and pick your brain? And then, right there on the spot, I hear about the thyroid medication that never quite worked, the bloating nobody can explain, the child with the rash that keeps coming back. I love these conversations, truly. They tell me how many people are still looking for answers.

I’d honestly love that coffee. But I also want to be honest with you, the way I’d want someone to be honest with me: a coffee chat can’t give you what you’re actually looking for. Your body’s story has chapters, what happened in your gut years ago, what’s living in your home, what your labs have been trying to tell you, and I can’t read those chapters in the fifteen minutes before the latte gets cold. And practically speaking, this is how I keep the lights on, and the power company still hasn’t started accepting lattes.

So here’s what I did instead. I sat down and recorded the conversation I’d want to have with you across that table: how I look at a body that’s struggling, why I start with drainage pathways instead of the newest supplement, and what order healing actually happens in. It runs just under an hour, so pour yourself a real cup first.

Comment TERRAIN and I’ll send it to you. Consider it our coffee date. ☕️

This month I told you what I see on toxin panels every week — mold, mercury, and aluminum showing up together more often than not, quietly wrecking mood in women who were told their labs were normal. I told you what AI cannot do, no matter how good the prompt is. And I told you that "you seem a little overwhelmed, here's a prescription" was never the whole story, whether you're four months postpartum or forty-four and white-knuckling perimenopause.

All of it comes back to the same question: does your terrain have what it needs to actually process what it's carrying?

If you've been nodding along all month and you're ready to find out where your own terrain stands, there are two ways to start.

Comment 𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡 for the free training — the same one that's walked hundreds of women through exactly where this begins.

Or comment 𝗠𝗔𝗣 if you're ready to have your own panel actually read, in a Terrain Roadmap Session built around your specific pattern — not a generic protocol, not a chatbot's best guess. Yours.

Either way, I'm glad you're here.

AI isn’t going anywhere, and most of the time that’s fine. Just not for this — not for the room, the pattern-recognition, the years of doing this work. That part can’t be prompted into existence.

Comment TERRAIN and let’s start with the free training — and if you’re ready for more, that’s always the next step, whenever you are.

If someone in your life is trying to DIY their health with AI, this is the easiest way to open the door for them — no pressure, no hard sell.

Comment TERRAIN and I’ll send you the link, ready for the next time this comes up.

I spent yesterday in a room full of women talking about perimenopause and menopause, and I left with the same thought I always leave these conversations with: we keep treating hormone decline like it’s the whole story, and it almost never is.

Every woman in that room had a version of the same experience — hormone panels that came back “within range,” a provider who chalked everything up to age, and a body that kept telling her something wasn’t right anyway. Sound familiar?

Here’s what I said to that room: hormones don’t decline in a vacuum. The pathways that clear estrogen, the terrain that’s supposed to support the transition, the toxin load that’s been quietly accumulating for decades — all of it is part of the picture, and almost none of it gets asked about in a fifteen-minute appointment.

You are allowed to want more than “that’s just perimenopause.”

Comment TERRAIN and I’ll send you the free training that walks through the terrain question your hormones have actually been waiting for someone to ask.

09/22/2026

Thyroid dysfunction. Sleep that never feels restorative. A mood that doesn’t match your life. That’s not three problems — it might be one terrain, carrying one load. Mold is the question almost nobody asks.

Comment TERRAIN and I’ll show you where to actually start looking.
