Self-care doesn’t have to be complicated - especially when you have your oils handy. Sugar scrubs are an easy way to exfoliate and leave your skin silky smooth, and this fall-inspired blend smells incredible.

DIY Sugar Scrub

- ¾ cup white sugar

- ½ cup Fractionated Coconut Oil

- 4 drops Cassia

- 4 drops Clove

- 2-4 drops Ginger

For a cooler, refreshing vibe, swap the oils for:

- 4 drops Douglas Fir

- 2-4 drops Peppermint

Mix the sugar and oil, add your essential oils, and stir until the texture feels like a slushy. Store it in a jar and use in the shower.

Wild Wednesday:
It doesn't get any wilder to me than mushrooms, or fungi if you please. I'm learning and so far I am very impressed with Maitake. I've been taking a tincture with it and so many of my issues are improving. If you know me, can you guess which ones? Have you had any experience with Maitake?

Spirit Filled Sunday:
Another version of my new signature verse and an explanation...
I will be changing my cover photo because the verse was not fully captured. "O God, do not forsake me" was left out unintentionally....but an interesting lesson to me. God has never forsaken me! Yes, there have been struggles but He has been there throughout everything! That is the power I must proclaim....the power that I am uniquely qualified to proclaim because of the years I've lived knowing Him. (Thank you, Bennett Zeller, for helping me see this truth.)

My CHICKEN getting her DUCKS in a row. Ashby put duck eggs under this broody girl and the ducklings were imprinted on her. Update: They eventually did join the other ducks.
