I am so honored to be named one of TALK Greenville Magazine's 25 Most Beautiful 2026!

What makes this recognition especially meaningful to me is what it represents: people who encourage and include others, volunteer and serve, and work to make the Upstate a brighter place for everyone. These things are incredibly important to me, and I was so honored to be thought of in this way!

This year marks 9 years of Brittany Jones Nutrition, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have built a local nutrition practice centered on compassionate care, a non-diet approach to health, and helping people feel confident in who they are, without believing they need to change themselves to get there.

Over the past 15 years in Greenville, I have had the privilege of serving alongside so many incredible women who make this community what it is. I was especially honored to attend the magazine's events alongside two women I have had the pleasure of serving on non-profit boards with through Junior League of Greenville SC and the Piedmont Dietetic Association

Thank you to TALK Greenville Magazine for this recognition, and to the people who have made the last 15 years in Greenville + the last 9 years in business, so meaningful!

🚨 Concerned about the Cyclospora outbreak?

One of the biggest challenges with the current outbreak is that investigators still haven't identified the food responsible. While the CDC and FDA continue investigating, many experts suspect a commercially grown fresh produce item, but no specific fruit, vegetable, farm, or brand has been identified.

As a Registered Dietitian with ServSafe® food safety training, my recommendation—for now—is simple:

🥗 If you're planning to eat fruits or vegetables raw, consider shopping local whenever possible.

🍽️ If you're purchasing commercially grown produce or dining out, choosing cooked vegetables instead of raw salads is a reasonable precaution until we know more.

This isn't about avoiding fruits and vegetables (please don't!). They're still one of the healthiest foods you can eat. It's simply about making informed choices while we wait for more answers.

Looking for local produce in the Upstate? Here are some great places to shop:

📍 Greer Farmers Market(Sundays — this reel was filmed there!)
📍 Saturday Market (Downtown Greenville • Saturdays)
📍 Travelers Rest Farmers Market (Saturdays)
📍 (Saturdays)
📍
📍 Fisher's Orchard (Greer)
📍 Greenville State Farmers Market

I put together a comprehensive blog post that explains what Cyclospora is, symptoms to watch for, answers common questions about grocery shopping, salads, dining out, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and where to shop locally while we wait to learn more about the source of this outbreak.

9 Years 💙

Nine years ago I pressed “publish” on my website and launched my social media pages—and never looked back.

Since then, this practice has evolved from Blush Nutrition to Brittany Jones Nutrition Group and now Brittany Jones Nutrition. I’ve built a team, moved offices, and grown through challenges I never expected.

In nine years, my practice has had the privilege of working with more than 1,500 clients across the Upstate—celebrating wins, supporting complex diagnoses, and helping people improve their relationship with food and body.

So much has changed in healthcare and private practice since 2017. I’ve seen many businesses come and go. I’ve watched independent practices close their doors, dietitians move to large national platforms, gyms come under new ownership, and private practices become part of larger healthcare systems. That’s why this milestone feels especially meaningful.

To every client, provider, and community member who has supported my practice - thank you. And to the incredible dietitians I’ve hired over the years that have been part of this journey - I’m so grateful for the impact you’ve made.

If you’ve ever worked with me, learned something from my page, or supported my business in any way—would you do me a small favor? Like this post, leave a comment with how we connected, or share it so more people can find a local Registered Dietitian. It truly makes a difference for small businesses like mine. 💙

Greenville, thank you for nine amazing years

Halfway check-ins are one of my favorite parts of working with clients 🤍

At the 4-week mark in my 8-week program, we pause to reflect on what’s working, celebrate the wins (big *and* small), and get really intentional about the second half. It’s not just about progress on paper—it’s about how things actually feel in your day-to-day life.

Savannah shared that what’s been going really well is finally understanding the *why* behind her food choices—and actually being able to implement it without feeling overwhelmed. And honestly, this is something I hear all the time from picky eaters. There’s often this fear that nutrition means completely overhauling your diet… when in reality, it’s about building on what you already like and making it work for you.

This is where confidence starts to build, habits start to click, and everything becomes more sustainable 🙌

If you’re ready to feel more clear, confident, and consistent with your nutrition—set up your FREE discovery call today ✨

Roasted Salmon Chimichurri Bowls 🍚
Servings : 2

1️⃣Preheat the oven to 425. Roast 2 (5oz) pieces of salmon topped with black pepper for 15-17 minutes until salmon reaches 145 degrees.
2️⃣ Meanwhile slice 1 zucchini into half moons. Half 1.5 cups of cherry tomatoes. Cut corn off 1 cobb.
3️⃣Add 1tbsp avocado oil to a pan and heat over medium heat. Swirl to coat the pan. Add the veggies + black pepper and sauté 5-7 minutes until zucchini is browned.
4️⃣ Defrost 1 cup of frozen cooked brown rice in the microwave. Add a 1/2 cup to each bowl.
5️⃣ Split equal amounts of the veggies between the bowls, and top with 1 piece of salmon and 2 tablespoons Chimichurri sauce. Enjoy!!

NOTE: I made this last week with grilled sirloin and it was amazing. Next week I’m going to grill chicken breasts! Shrimp would be wonderful too.

I’m going back to my roots. I started my business with concierge nutrition because real life doesn’t happen in appointments—it happens at the grocery store, at weddings, during busy workweeks, and on the go.

Now in 2026, I am returning to what I know works best for my clients: 100% concierge, real-time support, built for real life. That means meal plan support, access to my entire 400+ recipe library, and support via the for 24/7 questions and photo food log reviews.

You’ve probably seen the new dietary guidelines everywhere lately 👀

I was on Fox Carolina News with Kari Beal talking about the new 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, but we got cut for time — so we only covered fiber and saturated fat (two big ones, but definitely not the whole story).

In the clip, I talk about:
- Why most people aren’t getting enough fiber
- How saturated fat adds up really fast

There’s a lot more nuance than what fits into a short TV segment, so I wrote a full blog where I share my take on:
• The new protein recommendations
• Sodium + why the messaging is confusing
• Added sugar and artificial sweeteners
• The all-or-nothing tone
• How the new graphic brings back major 90s diet mentality
• ...and how to actually make this work in real life

👉 Watch the Fox Carolina segment + read the full blog with ALL of my thoughts below: https://brittanyjonesrd.com/2026/01/13/a-registered-dietitians-take-on-the-2025-2030-dietary-guidelines-for-americans-as-seen-on-fox-carolina/

Nutrition shouldn’t feel confusing, restrictive, or stuck in the 90s!
