Every Tuesday and Thursday our individuals engage in giving back to the community by volunteering with Meals on Wheels. This is an amazing organization serving those with one of the most needed resources. With food insecurity continuing to affect our community, it is our pleasure to do all we can to help those in need in our community. The Griffin Area Resource Center is not a state facility. We are a private, non-profit organization and receive state funds only for certain services we perform for our participants. State funding provides only a small portion of the money required for our day to day operation so any assistance we receive from the community is deeply needed and appreciated.
