The world is FULL of fad diets — many with contradicting ideas. And some are downright dangerous. Where are you getting your information??

This is my book collection. The first 3 shelves are books on fitness & nutrition that I’ve read. Over the next few days I’m going to share some of the books that I’ve found most influential.

I am a Holistic Nutrition Coach, a Personal Trainer, a Yoga Teacher and a Reiki Healer. More importantly, I am a woman in my late 50s going through many of the things you do. I am not perfect. I am not “skinny” and I’m not some model who’s never struggled with her weight. But I am passionate about health and nutrition. 🍎🥦🍌🌽🍊

Apologies for my absence! Sick kitty 😕

She has fatty liver disease. We are touch and go, but working hard for a full recovery. I share this because fatty liver disease is frequently diagnosed in humans. In a nutshell, I was too “good”‘to her and she was a chubby fluff ball. No. She was morbidly obese. And her body started shutting down.

The whole idea behind ETL is to help us make peace with food, prevent or reverse disease and find optimal health. Not sure how? I can help.

PS - kitty’s protocal involves portion control. A healthy relationship with healthy food. 🥗 🥕 🥦 🍎 🍊 🍌 🌽

Building positive daily habits!! Day 10 of a daily 45 minute walk followed by a “treat” — clean iced proffee (protein coffee).

Fill cup with ice
Add coffee (I use Starbucks cold brew - check your ingredients and calories)
Top off with vanilla protein drink (I like OWYN brand).

Enjoy!

Day 1 - again. I may take a break. But I will NEVER give up. You have to let your desire to change overshadow your habits.
