Meet Angela Brown, Leadership Guymon Class of 2026-2027!

Angela Brown is the Owner and Provider of PINC Psychiatric Services, PLLC, where she has served the Guymon community for the past three years. She has been part of the Texas County community for 49 years and has a strong desire to help expand access to mental health, family practice, and urgent care services throughout Texas County.

Angela is a current member of the Guymon Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Guymon, and St. Peter's Catholic Church. She is also continuing to expand her business to include family practice services and pursues continuing education to stay current with affordable clinical practice guidelines.

Through Leadership Guymon, Angela hopes to better understand the needs of the community so she can continue finding ways to serve others through both her business and volunteer opportunities. Angela has a passion for caring for people and has a desire to one day open a hospital helping children.

Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, is learning to paddle board, and brings a wide range of business experience and a genuine desire to care for others to the Leadership Guymon Class.

Excited to see another option approved by the FDA for ADHD. It has characteristics of a nonstimulant and stimulant. Although labeled as a stimulant, it acts more like a nonstimulant per some articles I have reviewed.

"Simtriyo is the first triple reuptake inhibitor (an NDSRI) for ADHD. Unlike older medications that only target two chemicals, Simtriyo boosts three distinct brain messengers simultaneously: norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin."

We are completing training on this now with hopes to start prescribing this medication option in October to November time frame. Here are some tid-bits to review:
