Yoga is not only what we practice on the mat.
Yoga is the expansion of our whole life.

Its philosophy is an essential part of the practice because it teaches us how to become aware of our thoughts, sensations, emotions and choices.

With awareness comes discernment: the ability to recognize which thoughts help us grow and which ones no longer serve us.

Discipline then becomes like the banks of a river—not something that restricts us, but something that gives direction to our life energy and allows it to flow with greater strength and purpose.

This is yoga beyond the poses.
This is yoga as a way of living.
