I was imagining heaven yesterday and the joy, and the praise we would give to the Lord when we are finally in his presence.
And again the realization that worship will never look the same again. I don’t wish grieve or hardships on anyone. But there’s a holy place of praising God through the pain and hard. And it will never be like that again when heaven comes.
Sit in his presence. Feel the thin place. Worship him through it. Lament to him. Let him minister to you in the hard.

Officially 1 year since moving into and making this house our own!

This year I’m slowing down, staying home, and getting back to the simple things with my young homeschoolers again. It’s a shift you have to make when you have one that’s 16 and very independent in his work.

So part of that is creating weekly, out of the house homeschool adventure lessons with my kids! Lots of outside, lots of nature, lots of art. And this week’s art was poetry.

The kids were shocked to see us arrive at a cemetery, but they were good sports and were watched challenged in the end with writing their own poem. They did great.

Super proud of them! Stay tuned for next weeks Adventure Lesson!

16 weeks with baby number 6! Join me for my doctors appt! Thankful it was uneventful, but I learned a good lesson today…. Eat before appointments!

January is the quiet prep season 🌱

Starting seeds indoors now with grow lights gives your spring garden a huge head start. While it’s cold outside, you can be planting herbs, greens, flowers, and slow-growing veggies from seed so they’re strong and ready when warmer weather arrives.

A little patience now = a much easier (and more beautiful) spring later. ✨
