GIFTED HANDS ACADEMY IS PROUD TO PARTNER WITH THE IDA BELL FOUNDATION! 🩺💊📉💉 🎓❤️💙

At Gifted Hands Academy, our mission is to train competent, skilled, compassionate allied healthcare professionals. We are proud to partner with the Ida Bell Foundation in its scholarship program, helping students access the education and support they need to pursue healthcare careers.

✨ In 2026, the Ida Bell Foundation awarded SIX scholarships valued at $5,500 each—a total of $33,000 in educational opportunities!

Through this partnership, the Ida Bell Foundation provides scholarship funding, while Gifted Hands Academy provides allied healthcare instruction, hands-on skills training, and preparation for certification and careers in healthcare. Together, we help turn students’ goals into opportunities for a stronger future.

The Foundation also provided on-site childcare for scholarship recipients and Gifted Hands Academy students, helping parents focus on their education while their children were cared for. ❤️

🩺 A new year. A new goal. Your future in healthcare starts here!

As we wrap up our final Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program of 2026, Gifted Hands Academy is preparing for 2027—and we want YOU to be part of our next class!

Our next CCMA session begins January 26, 2027. There is still time to apply, prepare, and take the first step toward your healthcare career.

What does a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant do?

CCMAs work alongside healthcare providers to support patient care. Depending on their training, workplace policies, and applicable requirements, their responsibilities may include:

✅ Taking vital signs and recording medical histories
✅ Preparing patients for examinations
✅ Assisting providers with procedures
✅ Performing EKGs
✅ Drawing blood and collecting specimens
✅ Administering vaccines, also called immunizations or inoculations, under appropriate clinical supervision

Our 16-week program offers hands-on training, clinical skill development, and certification preparation to help you build your skills and care with confidence.

One of the best things about Gifted Hands Academy? We offer on-site childcare!

While you are learning in class, your child can be cared for and engaged in learning in a safe, secure environment right here on-site, close to you. Your child’s safety and well-being matter, so you can focus on your education knowing they are nearby.

We’re proud to see Gifted Hands Academy featured in the August/September 2026 issue of Northwest Indiana Business Magazine! 💙❤️

The article, “Childcare challenge,” highlights a barrier many parents face while preparing for a new career: finding dependable childcare.

At Gifted Hands Academy, our partnership with the Ida Bell Foundation helps address that barrier. Childcare support gives parents more opportunity to focus on their allied health training, complete their programs, and work toward industry-recognized credentials.
