Meighan and Tim had the opportunity to attend the Shining Stars Therapeutic Riding Program fundraiser this past weekend. Shining Stars holds a special place in their hearts- Kinleigh and Maeve both participated in the riding therapy program. The horses and staff brought so much joy to the girls. And when Kinny could no longer go in and ride…Shining Stars came to her bringing some special animals for a visit! Meighan was honored to speak at the event.

Three years ago today, our world changed forever. 💔 We received the news that our sweet Kinny had a brain tumor.

And today, on that same day, we celebrate her cousin, Maris Anne Connelly, who turns 10! 🎂💗

Kinny and Maris weren’t just cousins, they were best friends. And Maris’s mom, Gina, is also Kinny’s Godmother, making the bond between these girls and their families even more special.

Today is a beautiful reminder that joy and sadness can coexist at exactly the same time. We can miss someone with our whole hearts while celebrating someone we love deeply.

So today, we hold both, the heartbreak of what we lost and the joy of the beautiful girl who is here.

South Western High School’s Gold Out Game was this evening. They honored those Mustangs who fought and are fighting childhood cancer. Kinny and the Connelly Family were recognized. 🎗️
We know Kinny was looking down on the game and all of the fans- especially when big brother Danny got an amazing interception! 🏈

Behind every statistic is a child, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard. We wear gold for Kinny and for every child who has heard the words “you have cancer.”

A special place for a very special girl. 🩷💚🦋

Kinleigh’s grandparents had a bench placed in a park in King of Prussia in her honor. This is a park where Kinny loved to play and make memories.
Now there is a special place to sit, rest, and be remembered by everyone who visits. We hope this bench brings smiles, stories, and a little reminder of the sweet, sassy, sparkling girl who brought so much joy wherever she went. 🦋✨

Back-to-school is here! 🎒📚 While her friends are heading into 5th grade, we can’t help but wish our sweet Kinny was here making memories right alongside them. She should be here.💗

This week, we’ll celebrate the joy, laughter, and friendship she left behind. Kinny’s light will always be a part of every school year. We know Kin is up there watching over her family, friends, and teachers as they start a new school year. 🦋✨

She’s getting released from the hospital and Maeve is one HAPPY little girl! ❤️
Not sure if she’s happier about finally going home OR that her favorite cheeseburger Happy Meal just showed up! 😂🍔
