🍂🎃 A Beautiful Fall Day at Brown’s Family Farm Market! 🎃🍂
We couldn’t have asked for a prettier day to enjoy a little fall fun! Our Legacy residents loved spending time at Brown’s Farm, picking out pumpkins to bring home, and checking out the store for a few sweet treats.
There’s just something special about a crisp fall day, good company, and finding the perfect pumpkin. 💜🎃

Our candy donation monster has officially arrived! 👻🧡 Jackie Lantern is ready to help us collect lots of sweet treats for our Community Trick-or-Treating event on October 29th! 🍫

We are currently accepting candy donations to help make Halloween extra special for all of the little trick-or-treaters joining us! 🎃✨

💗✨ Dolly Day Happy Hour! ✨💗

We had the BEST time celebrating Dolly Day with our residents! Our happy hour was full of fun, laughter, music, and A LOT of pink! 🎀💄🌸

We also created our very own “Coat of Many Memories” filled with special memories, stories, and moments that are uniquely ours. 💕🧵✨

From singing along to Dolly’s greatest hits to enjoying good company and making new memories, it was truly a day to remember!

Join us at Harrison Trail Health Campus for our Family Forum, an Alzheimer’s and dementia support group created for families, caregivers, and members of the community. Maria from Sanctuary Hospice will lead an open and supportive discussion, offering helpful insight, resources, and an opportunity to connect with others who understand the challenges of caring for someone living with memory loss. We encourage you to bring a friend or loved one. Everyone is welcome!

🐧 A Dream Come True for Rhoda! 🐧

Today was a very special Live A Dream day for our sweet Rhoda!

We started the adventure with a surprise she definitely wasn’t expecting! A giant penguin showed up to reveal where the day was taking her! After a few hugs with her new feathered friend, our penguin even saw Rhoda off as she headed out on her adventure to Newport Aquarium .

We began by enjoying the beautiful day outside and taking in the Cincinnati skyline before heading in to explore. From colorful lionfish and tiny seahorses to mesmerizing jellyfish, there was so much to see along the way.

But we saved the very best for last!

Rhoda has always had a special love for penguins, and today she got to step right into their world. Penguins waddled around her feet as she experienced them closer than ever before, and with the help of the Newport Aquarium team, she even had the opportunity to gently touch one up close.

Watching Rhoda surrounded by the penguins she has loved for so long was one of those moments we won’t soon forget. A real dream, a beautiful day, and one very happy Rhoda. 💜🐧

This is what Live A Dream is all about! Turning the things our residents have always wished for into memories they can truly experience.

We recently held a Fall Prevention Day focused on keeping our residents active, aware, and confident!

Residents took part in several hands-on activities, including a foot sensory activity, spotting and correcting potential hazards in a mock room, and a fun balance challenge tossing balls through a hula hoop.

It was a great way to combine education with interactive activities while practicing skills that help support confidence and independence. Here are a few pictures from our day!

Summer gave us so many sweet memories in Legacy. ☀️🌻

We soaked up the sunshine in our courtyard with outdoor games, projects, pizza and dinners together, wandered through the butterflies at Krohn Conservatory, enjoyed picnics at the park along the Miami River, and made the most of those beautiful summer days whenever we could.

As summer comes to an end, we’re looking back on a season full of sunshine, laughter, and wonderful memories together. 💜

What a fun and wonderfully unique outing for our Legacy residents! We spent the day exploring Vent Haven Museum in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, and learning about the fascinating history of ventriloquism.

One of our favorite parts was discovering a little piece of our own hometown history! Brothers George and Glenn McElroy worked right in Harrison, Ohio, creating incredibly detailed ventriloquist figures that became famous for their elaborate movements and craftsmanship. Our tour guide, Bryan, was kind enough to spend some extra time sharing the McElroy brothers’ story with us and showing us their work in the museum.

We loved getting an up-close look at the collection, learning something new, and finding a little piece of Harrison history along the way. What a great adventure for our Legacy crew! ❤️

Grandparents Day called for a good old-fashioned family dinner! 🍝❤️

Our Harrison Trails families joined us for a spaghetti dinner prepared by Chef Chloe and our wonderful culinary team. It was such a special evening seeing grandparents surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all gathered around the table enjoying dinner and time together.

Good food, family, and generations of love around the same table—what better way to celebrate Grandparents Day? ❤️

What a week it was celebrating the incredible team that makes Harrison Trail so special! 💙

We packed our Employee Appreciation Week with good food, sweet treats, and lots of fun because our team deserves to be celebrated! 🎉

Most importantly, this week was about saying THANK YOU to the amazing people who show up every day, care for our residents, create meaningful moments, and help make our community feel like home.

We hope this week reminded each and every one of you just how much you are valued, appreciated, and loved! ❤️
