If you know Caitlin you know she’s hands down one of the best moms you’ll ever meet, she has a heart of gold, and she’s just as pretty on the inside as she is on the outside (literally the prettiest girl I’ve ever met it’s crazy)

Friendly reminder to get off the scale & stop letting it dictate your life!!!

There’s so many other ways to track progress. Yes you can celebrate scale victories, but remember that if you’re building muscle in the process of losing fat, the scale won’t accurately show your progress.

And THIS is why I strength train every pregnancy 👏

With my first 2 pregnancies I prioritized weight lifting up until birth and it made my postpartum weight loss / birth / overall healing journey MUCH easier.

The more muscle you have the more calories you BURN. Most women become sedentary while pregnant / postpartum causing them to LOSE muscle thus slowing down their metabolism.

This is why a lot of women feel like they just can’t lose weight postpartum even with breastfeeding / a “calorie deficit” / cardio.

I’m on my third pregnancy now and I feel more confident than ever on exactly what I need to do to make my birth / postpartum journey easier for myself ♥️

This is what has worked wonders for me, of course every pregnancy / circumstance is different for each mama.. but if you’re able to do strength training DO IT
