✨STAFF SPOTLIGHT — PRESLEY JOHNSON✨
I don’t normally have the opportunity to do a Staff Spotlight because, well… it’s usually just me😂 But that officially changes today, and I couldn’t be more excited about the person joining me❤️
This one is especially meaningful because I’ve known Presley since she was just a little girl. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching her grow into the woman she is today, and now getting to welcome her as part of the Braz Fitness family makes this pretty special for me.
Some of you may have already seen Presley around the gym the past few months helping me out, but I wanted to formally introduce her and let everyone know that this will be the beautiful face you’ll be seeing in the office on Monday and Wednesday evenings from now on🤍
Presley was born and raised right here in Pisgah, Alabama. She is 28 years old and a 2016 graduate of Pisgah High School. She loves her community and where she comes from. She’s a proud dog mom to two German Shepherds, Gunner & Zora, and next fall she’ll be marrying her fiancé, Kordell Talley💍 Presley is also incredibly family oriented, and the people she loves are a huge part of who she is. She’s the kind of person who shows up for her people, supports them, and loves them big❤️
Fitness has been a part of Presley’s life for as long as she can remember. As a former athlete, she knows both the good that comes from pushing yourself physically and the harder side of living in a world that puts so much emphasis on what our bodies are “supposed” to look like.
As she’s gotten older, her perspective on fitness has changed. She’s learned that movement isn’t punishment for what we ate, and our bodies aren’t projects that constantly need to be fixed. Being able to move, get stronger, challenge ourselves, and experience what our bodies are capable of is a privilege from God. Fitness should add to our lives—not consume the way we see ourselves.
That perspective is one of the things I love most about what Presley will bring to Braz Fitness.
She believes there isn’t one “perfect” body, one perfect weight, or one way everyone is supposed to look. We’re all built differently, we have different goals, and our journeys are going to look different. Fitness is about so much more than appearance. It’s about becoming stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s confidence, discipline, community, and learning to appreciate what your body can do.
Presley is also continuing to invest in her education in the fitness industry and is currently working toward earning her certification, which she hopes to have completed before the end of the year💪
She’s passionate about this industry, excited to continue learning and growing, and hopes to help others discover a love for movement while learning to love, respect, and take care of the body God gave them.
I’m proud of the woman Presley has become, I trust what she stands for, and I couldn’t be happier to have her standing beside me and becoming part of what we’ve built here.
Y’all help me officially welcome Presley Johnson to the Braz Fitness family🤍
We build more than muscle, we build family💪🏻
