✨What a wonderful day at the Annual Developmental Disabilities Resource Fair!✨

PDXconnects was excited to be a vendor and connect with so many amazing people in our community! We loved making new connections, sharing information about our services, and passing out goodies along the way!

Events like these are such a great reminder of the importance of community, collaboration, and working together to create opportunities and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

🎉 Nickel Bingo Fun! 🎉

Our crew had a great time getting out into the local community and enjoying an afternoon of Nickel Bingo at our local community center! 🤑🎱

It was a fun opportunity to socialize, meet others in the community, practice our bingo skills, and enjoy some friendly competition. We love finding new ways for the people we support to be active, involved, and connected within their local communities!
Another fun outing and more great memories made! ❤️

Our crew had an amazing time getting out and exploring the beauty and history of Mt. St. Helens! From taking in the incredible scenery to learning more about this iconic area, it was a wonderful day filled with adventure, discovery, and great memories.

Once an individual has a job, our Job Coaches can provide support with learning job duties, understanding workplace expectations, building relationships with coworkers, navigating challenges, and developing skills that promote greater independence on the job.

Our goal is to provide the support needed for each individual to be successful while encouraging independence and helping them become as confident and self-sufficient in their workplace as possible.

Whether it’s meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, or learning kitchen safety, our team is there to provide the support and encouragement needed along the way.
