Recently, a patient texted me about a potentially life-threatening medical concern.

At most doctor’s offices, assuming he could even get someone on the phone, he probably would have been told to go straight to the ER.

Instead, I told him to come see me.

Less than 15 minutes later, he was in our office. We evaluated him, obtained advanced imaging, and had an answer. No emergency room necessary.
