Hey, hi! 👋🏻
It’s been a minute.
If you’ve been here a while, you know this Instagram account was born when my love for essential oils blossomed and I wanted to share them with as many as I could. And while I still am an avid oil user and will love doTERRA Essential Oils USA til my dying days (pry Harvest Spice from my cold dead hands) I slowed down in doing the business and this became my personal Instagram page. But it feels like time for a change again.
For quite some time, I’ve been feeling a nudge to share more of my life as a dance studio owner. I don’t want to talk about the studio exclusively, but the process. I want to share about choreographing, how I’ve built my studio culture, why I love to teach, how I teach. I guess I feel drawn to helping teach teachers, or rather inspire them! To be a resource for other teachers as many have been one to me.
I’ve put this off for so long because for being a very Type B gal, I’m always afraid to start because what if it’s not perfect. What if I’m not ready? But the mom in my is dying to show my daughter that it’s okay to have big dreams, more dreams. To let the dreams expand and morph. And to just START, whether you’re ready or not. So here’s to jumping in. Tap shoed toes first.
And to seeing some more of me on here again. The good, the bad, the dancing, the teaching life, mom life, all of it. I really do love what social media can do and I really hope to connect with more studio owners, teachers, and friends through my platform.
After all, dance IS in fact my life. And I can’t wait to share it with you. Hope you stick around. It’s going to get good. 🥹🤍
