💪 Protein isn’t just for bodybuilders.
Protein plays a huge role in everyday health — especially if you’re working toward weight-loss or body-composition goals.
It helps support:
• Muscle preservation while you’re in a calorie deficit
• Recovery from workouts and daily activity
• Satiety, so meals actually keep you full
• Body composition, by helping you maintain lean tissue while losing weight
One of the easiest ways to hit your protein goal?
Stop trying to “make it up” at dinner.
Aim to get around 25–30g of protein at each main meal.
A few easy examples:
Breakfast:
2 eggs + egg whites + Greek yogurt
≈ 25–30g protein
Lunch:
4 oz grilled chicken in a wrap or bowl
≈ 30g protein
Dinner:
4–5 oz salmon, turkey, chicken, shrimp, or lean meat
≈ 25–35g protein
Then use snacks like Greek yogurt, a protein shake, cheese, turkey, eggs, or edamame to help fill the gaps.
You don’t need to eat “bodybuilder food.” 😂
You just need to build meals around a quality protein source consistently.
At The Body Co., we don’t just give you a calorie goal — we also look at your protein, carbs, fats, activity, and body composition so your nutrition actually supports the result you’re working toward. 💗
Protein first. Then build the rest of the meal around it.
