Leaking when you laugh, sneeze, or lift? Feeling pressure “down there”?

Common. Not normal. 💙

Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that works like a hammock, supporting your bladder, bowel, and uterus. Pregnancy, childbirth, aging, and hormonal changes can all affect how well those muscles do their job, and when they weaken, everyday life can start to feel a little less comfortable.

The good news? Pelvic floor physical therapy is one of the most effective first-line treatments for incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction. And no, it’s not just Kegels. A specialist can tailor a plan to what your body actually needs.

You don’t have to just live with it. Ask your doctor for a referral to Triple Crown Urology.

Common. Not normal. 💙

On average, women live with urinary incontinence for 6–7 years before bringing it up with a doctor. That’s years of mapping out every bathroom, skipping the workout class or the long walk, and quietly deciding that leaks are just part of life now.

It’s easy to see why. It can feel awkward to mention, and it’s so common that many women assume nothing can be done. But there are real, effective treatments, from pelvic floor therapy to medications to minimally invasive procedures, and the first step is simply starting the conversation.

If bladder leakage is affecting your daily life, mention it at your next visit and ask your doctor for a referral to Triple Crown Urology. You don’t have to just live with it.

Common. Not normal. 💙

Whether it’s a few drops, a sudden gush, or a full-on flood, losing bladder control can show up in different ways. Maybe it happens when you cough, sneeze, laugh, or work out. Maybe you feel a sudden urge and can’t make it to the bathroom in time. Maybe you’ve started planning your day around where the restrooms are. However it happens for you, you’re not alone. Urinary incontinence affects more than 25 million Americans, women and men alike.

There are a few main types:
🔹 Stress incontinence: leaking, dribbling, or gushing when you cough, sneeze, laugh, lift, or exercise
🔹 Urge incontinence: a sudden, strong need to go that’s hard to hold, sometimes leading to accidents before you reach the bathroom
🔹 Mixed incontinence: a combination of both

The good news is that it’s treatable. Options range from pelvic floor therapy and lifestyle changes to medications and procedures, and the right plan depends on you.

You don’t have to just live with it. Ask your primary care provider for a referral to Triple Crown Urology, and let’s talk about what’s going on. 💬

Common. Not normal. 💙

Bladder leakage affects millions of adults, but that doesn’t mean it’s something you have to quietly live with. Age can play a role, but incontinence has real, identifiable causes, and real, effective treatments.

From pelvic floor therapy to medication to minimally invasive procedures, there are options, and our team is here to help you find the one that fits your life.

If leaks are changing how you live, ask your primary care provider for a referral to Triple Crown Urology. You deserve answers, and you deserve to feel like yourself again.

Meet Whitney Griffith, APRN 💙 Whitney grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas and graduated from Henderson State University before building her career in women’s health and obstetrics. She brings that same passion for women’s care to her role at Triple Crown Urology — where the intersection of women’s health and urology gives her the opportunity to make a real difference for patients navigating bladder, pelvic floor, and urologic concerns.

When she’s not in clinic, Whitney loves spending her time with her husband Dylan and their daughter Harper.

We’re so glad she’s now a part of our team. 💙

What an incredible day at the Women’s Health Expo. 💕
We were proud to sponsor and even more proud to be in the room. Dr. Warford had the opportunity to speak about topics that too often go unspoken — pelvic floor health, urinary incontinence, vaginal hormonal changes, and the urologic concerns that quietly affect so many women’s daily lives.

The conversations we had reminded us exactly why this work matters. Women deserve access to real information, real answers, and providers who take these concerns seriously.

If something resonated with you at the expo — or if you’ve been sitting on a question you haven’t known how to ask — we’re here. Ask your doctor for a referral to Triple Crown Urology. 💙

October is here — and this month, we’re dedicating this space to women. 💗

Too many women are quietly managing urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and pelvic floor issues without ever knowing that real help is available. These aren’t just inconveniences. They’re medical conditions with causes, and more importantly, with treatments.

Whether it’s leaking with a sneeze, rushing to the bathroom and not making it, or pelvic pressure that’s become part of your daily normal — you deserve more than being told to just live with it.

Follow along this month as we break it all down — what these conditions are, why they happen, and what your options look like. And if any of it sounds familiar, ask your doctor for a referral to Triple Crown Urology. 💙
