About KDE Disability Africa Foundation – Liberia
KDE Disability Africa Foundation – Liberia is a non profit / non governmental organization (NGO) registered in Liberia as a NGO since 2017. Our purpose is to improve the lives of people with disabilities and dis-enfranchised girls and youth in Africa and the US. We do this by providing vocational training, empowerment workshops, clothing, food, and advocating for disability inclusion.
KDE Disability Africa Foundation – Liberia is focusing on a long-neglected segment of society – women with physical disabilities living below poverty levels – through our Vocational Training program and empowerment workshops. Women with physical disabilities are among the most vulnerable and many lack practical skills to start their own business (entrepreneurship) or get a job (employment). Vocational training will lead them to be productive members of society while gaining practical skills.
