Love me a good hug! 🤗💛 Especially with these beautiful friends and family!

A sweet embrace...a moment to soften, feel held, and connect. I don’t think there’s a magic number of hugs we need each day, but I know how much a heartfelt one means to me.

When was the last time you shared a good hug? If someone you love welcomes one, this is your gentle reminder. 🫂✨

Have you been going 100 miles a minute?

Take an intentional pause with me...

Take a slow, gentle breath in and as you exhale drop your shoulders

Sink down into your chair or feet

And remind yourself that you've got this, that you're supported, that you are loved!

💝 Love truly is the medicine! 💝

CHALLENGE: Think about 1 thing you love about yourself. Lean into that today. Maybe it's your smile, maybe it's your hair, maybe it's the way you hold space for your friends and family. Love on that part of your today and let me know how it feels in the comments below 👇

You have so many beautiful qualities, I invite you to lean in more to the qualities you love than the ones you don't. This alone can change your mindset, your emotions and the hormones released in your body. Try it!

Sending you a big, loving hug! 🫂🦋✨️

Tonight’s floating sound bath was especially meaningful for me. 🤍

We gathered for an evening of rest, reflection, and receiving...creating space for these beautiful women to step away from the constant doing, planning, carrying, and caring that fills so much of daily life.

We talked about the 7 types of rest, with a special focus on mental rest and the importance of giving the mind permission to stop solving, anticipating, and managing for a little while.

Then we floated.

We allowed the water to hold the body, the sound to soften the mind, and the evening to become a reminder that we do not have to carry everything all the time.

Tonight also carried a deeply personal meaning for me.

🦋 Today marks 20 years since the passing of my sister Gina, and I dedicated this sound bath to her memory.

💝 There was something incredibly tender about offering sound, stillness, water, and rest on a day that carries so much love and remembrance for me. Grief changes over time, but love remains. And tonight, I allowed that love to move through the space, through the bowls, and through the intention behind every sound.

🙏🏼 I am so grateful to the women who allowed themselves to pause, soften, float, and receive with me this evening.

✨️ May we continue to remember that rest is not something we have to earn.

And may we continue to make space for the people we love, the memories we carry, and the moments that remind us what truly matters. 🤍

Thank you for hosting

What a beautiful afternoon of intentional rest with the parents at The Garden Martial Arts Academy. 🤍

We spent time talking about the 7 types of rest, with a special focus on the mental load so many parents carry every day...the planning, remembering, anticipating, organizing, and constantly thinking about what everyone else needs.

Through gentle restorative movement, breath, stillness, and sound, parents were invited to set some of that weight down for a little while and simply receive.

One of my favorite reminders from our time together was that rest does not always mean sleep. Sometimes rest is quieting the mental chatter. Sometimes it is putting the phone away. Sometimes it is allowing someone else to hold space for you.

Parents pour so much into their children, families, work, and communities. This was a reminder that their nervous systems need care, too.

Thank you to Joe & Yaíma of The Garden Martial Arts Academy for creating space for your parent community to slow down, soften, and reset. It was an honor to hold this experience for everyone who joined us. ✨ Follow them and join them for a class!

May you carry this reminder with you:
You do not have to finish everything before you allow yourself to rest.

And if you have been craving a moment to exhale, reset, and be cared for too, I would love to welcome you into one of my upcoming wellness experiences. Set everything down for a little while, and let yourself receive. 🤍

🌅 Last night’s sunset aquatic (floating) sound bath at Texas A&M Galveston was such a beautiful reminder that rest can look different for each of us. 💧

Before we settled into the water, we talked about the 7 types of rest: physical, mental, emotional, sensory, social, creative, and spiritual and spent a little extra time focusing on SENSORY REST.

For college students, especially, there is so much constant input: phones, notifications, screens, conversations, schoolwork, noise, deadlines, and the pressure to always be “on.”

⏰️ For one full hour, they were invited to unplug, float, listen, breathe, and simply receive.

Some of the shares afterward said it all:

✨ “I couldn’t believe I was without my phone for one whole hour. It felt so good!”
✨ “I feel so much more relaxed.”
✨ “My stress level is pretty much a 0 now.”
✨ “I couldn’t tell if I was awake or asleep, but it felt so relaxing.”

Sometimes our nervous system does not need us to do more. Sometimes it needs less input, less stimulation, and permission to be still.

So grateful to hold this space for the students at Texas A&M Galveston and to watch the sunset, water, breath, and sound create a moment of true rest. 🤍

A little reminder for all of us: sensory rest counts, too.

Put the phone down.
Soften the lights.
Step away from the noise.
Give your senses a chance to exhale.

🫂 A warm hug to all of the students that joined us and opened your hearts and minds to this experience! I look forward to seeing you again soon! 🤗

🫶🏼 A huge thank you to Kristin for being open to hosting our 2nd Aquatic Sound Bath on campus!!! And to Kifferie for connecting me to Kristin! Love our web of beautiful connections!

📸 And so much love to Tiff for capturing these beautiful moments of time together. 🙏🏼🥰
