Our ancestors didn’t let the harvest go to waste. They preserved food naturally and used the ingredients around them to nourish their families throughout the year. 🌿

On October 4, we’ll gather for The Living Ancestral Pantry to explore cacao, beans, squash, achiote, amaranth, herbs, and spices used in Mesoamerican kitchens.

We’ll also make our own amaranth calaveritas and close the gathering with a cacao circle. 🤎
