Nervous about your first Spravato session? Most people are. Here’s what actually happens, start to finish.

Before: plan your ride. No food for 2 hours before, no drinks for 30 minutes before.
0:00 You arrive. Private room, recliner, blanket. Blood pressure check.
0:05 You give the spray yourself, with a team member walking you through it.
0:10 You rest. Eye mask, headphones, music. We check on you the whole time.
2:00 You go home. Someone else drives. No driving until tomorrow.

Spravato is for adults with treatment-resistant depression, used with an oral antidepressant. Not right for everyone.
