My clinical background includes emergency medicine, urgent care, and regenerative therapies. Those experiences, along with my training in Functional Medicine, have helped shape how I approach patient care today.

Lab testing can provide useful insight into different areas of your health, even when you aren't necessarily looking for a comprehensive Functional Medicine evaluation.

Redefine Health and Wellness now provides access to predefined lab panels through Fullscript Journeys, with options focused on functional health, women's and men's health, and cardiometabolic health.

After completing your selected testing, your results and recommendations are reviewed by our provider before being made available to you through Fullscript.

This is a separate option from the individualized lab testing that may be recommended as part of Functional Medicine care at our clinic.

Meet Cassandra Tom, FNP-C, FMACP.

Cassandra is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner whose background includes emergency medicine, regenerative medicine, hormone health, metabolic wellness, and functional medicine.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department, caring for patients in fast-paced clinical settings. She later gained experience in regenerative medicine through her work at a pain management center, where she also trained medical professionals in therapies including PRP, stem cell therapy, and trigger point injection therapy.

Today, her approach combines clinical experience with a functional and integrative perspective that focuses on understanding the factors that may influence overall health rather than viewing symptoms in isolation.
