Our team was proud to participate in Day of Caring by helping prepare backpacks for local families. During our shift, we packed 650 backpacks, contributing to the 1,200 backpacks that were distributed to students for the upcoming school year.

Following the severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings that impacted Huron, CHW Samara recognized an opportunity to support the community by organizing a Horizon staff food drive. The initiative was developed to collect food donations for the Salvation Army in appreciation of their ongoing partnership and assistance to CHW patients who are referred for emergency food and other essential resources. The food drive served as a way for Horizon staff to give back to an organization that consistently supports individuals and families in need within the community.
