🔬🦠 Our Mini Microbiologists Are at Work! 🧪🌿

Yesterday, our little NTA scientists (the Penguins) headed outdoors to collect samples from nature and discover a whole world that’s usually invisible to the naked eye!

Using a microscope, our checklist and our Mini Microbiologist Booklets, the kids explored tiny organisms living in their samples, learned about fascinating microorganisms like rotifers, nematodes and tardigrades, and observed how these little creatures move and interact with their environment. Some of the things we discovered were so tiny, but so amazing to see up close!

Our young scientists practiced observing, asking questions, making discoveries, and recording what they learned, all while having a blast!

Who knew there was so much life hiding in a little sample of nature?

At NTA, learning goes beyond the classroom, we encourage curiosity, exploration, and a love of discovery!
